Toschi Amarena Black Cherries in Syrup, 2 LB 3.27 Oz

I highly recommend these for your drinks, ice cream or desserts. These are delicious and high quality cherries. They come in a thick sweet juice. So good!

These are some of the best cocktail cherries out there. They are much less expensive than the filthy cherries and taste just as good. I use them daily in my flavored waters, and they are wonderful to help flavor my water then a fun snack after I finish drinking the drink. I have not tried it, but I bet they would be wonderful on ice cream as well.

These cherries take me back to my childhood in Italy, where they were often used in pastries. The flavor brings back wonderful memories—and they’re absolutely delicious. I was very pleased with the product and plan to use them in the pastry cream for an Italian mille foglie cake. The syrup is equally fantastic, perfect for mixing into water or cocktails.

These are sooooo good.. I literally eat from can with a chopstick.. use syrup to make cherry dr pepper.. Great value. And soooooo yum. I have a marachino cherry obsession, probably addiction... im working on it.. 😆 top 3 favorite by overall taste. Top #1 for bang for my buck.. please don't runout!!.

These cherries are so much better than the typical fluorescent maraschinos at the grocery store. They are in a thick, dark syrup that is very sweet, but also just a bit tart. They are great in cocktails, and you can use some of the syrup as a more complex substitute for grenadine or other sweeteners. I took another reviewer's advice and moved some of these cherries from the syrup to brandy, which cuts the sweetness a bit and gives them better balance. The only thing I don't like about these cherries is that the cherries themselves have a slightly floral flavor that seems a bit out of place and artificial (though to be clear, I don't think the flavor is actually artificial).

Amarena cherries are my favourite, perfect for a nice Manhattan or on icecream. 2nd time ordering this, first time it came with no lid to reseal after opening, 2nd order was good to go. If ordering just be sure to have some spare jars just in case there no lid!
