Q: the blade says 10" but the product demension say 1x12x14 inches what does that mean??

I think this means you can also buy in the larger blades 12 and14 inch. I purchased a 10 inch for my makita compound saw.

The 10" blade will not work on a 12" saw. They do make a 12" blade for that.

Yes,, it will work like any 10" blade in a miter saw made for a 10" blade. It will also work with a table saw made for a 10" blade with 5/8" arbor.
