Bigger is better
Oh my, what have I done? I finally took the plunge, sold the 55" telly and bought this shiny white beast. And what a beast it is! The images at 150" are stunningly clear, bright and contain rich colouring and detail. Viewing with blackout curtains or from dusk onwards is recommended as it does not have quite the brightness to view in daytime. Although not true 4K, at this price point there is no reason to complain. The speakers are adequately loud enough, but as the projector allows you to connect your smart speaker/s via bluetooth you might want to use alternatives. I decided to buy a bluetooth gizmo for a few quid to connect my amplifier to it. The fan, though not whisper quiet, is certainly unobtrusive and should not provide any unwelcome distraction. I have connected a wifi Roku stick to the projector and can play all the apps through it including; Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Watching the animated series 'Love, Death and Robots' (Netflix) on this projector is mind-blowing and so is the remastered Star Wars IV 4K version. Natural history programs are especially astounding. This projector is an excellent purchase and its long lamp life should provide thousands of hours of quality viewing - cosily away from the unfortunate distractions sometimes experienced inside the movie theatre today.

Great projector, especially for the price
Bough this based on What Hi-Fi 2020 Award Winner 5 star review. Excellent projector for the price, not native 4K (impossible at this price) but great upscaled 4K from digital sources. My Roku+ stick gives great UHD Netflix / Disney+ / Prime Video etc. Tested with a few YouTube 4K demo clips and looks amazing. Also, I run a standard PlayStation 4 through it and it is way better upscaled. Call of Duty Warzone runs in HDR on this projector and look great.

4k it is not
This is not 4k. Decent HD but really no where near 4k. Looks OK through PS5 but not to the standard stated. When upping settings on Ps5 they are denied as the output device, the projector is not able to reach 4K. Would advise more research into other products.

Price / performance is amazing
-Image quality is perfect with keystone settings over 15 degree. -4k support is satisfying (tested with Avatar movie) -Very silent in Eco mode - easy to setup - lens shifting is very useful to arrange - works perfect with apple tv 4k Although it is extremely heavy and big in size, the best projector in this price range.

Flicker
Very disappointed with this projector. After less than 100 hours there was a noticeable flicker when using eco mode. This is a common problem with this projector. The only solution is to run it on medium/high settings but you the fans run louder, it produces more heat, the bulb lasts less long and the picture can be uncomfortably bright in a darkened room. Our previous projector had none of these issues and had been in service for over 10 years. This projector hasn't even made it to 3 months yet.

Great picture but not much else so far!
Just received my Epson Tw-7100 and eagerly wanted to test it out. I purchased this along with the Amazon 4K fire stick which was reccomended. The fire stick was set up on my tv first so it was just a case of plugging it in to my projectors hdmi port. That’s where things started to go wrong, it sits there for a while before a message appears saying that this device is non compatible. I’m now slightly gutted. I have a now tv box which works fine of the hdmi port and the picture looks great on a 120” projector screen. Next problem is when I try to Bluetooth the sound via my sound bar (Bose Soundbar 500 and Bose Bass Module 500). Guess what! It would not connect. This Bose Soundbar and Bass Module have connected to phones, iPads and MP3 players so why not this Epson projector. Any help or advice would be great at this stage otherwise the Epson TW-7100 Projector may have to go back as it’s not doing what it is supposed to do 😊

Brilliant projector ideal for fixed position not necessarily an on the move
Delivers a brilliant image and inbuilt speakers a bonus but a bit Tinny. bought for use around the house maybe pop up garden cinema for friends and family, here and there, to find it's quite a delicate machine that is ideal for a fixed set up rather than pack away and move around. Description of blue tooth is vague. Basically you can't blue tooth to it only out of it to say a speaker. I was hoping to wirelessly send images from devices to it like with a smart TV but if you can like I was leasd to believe from description then, I'm still trying to figure that out. Don't be tempted if buying from Amazon to purchase suggested Amazon fire stick. it is good but go buy from Tescos or other retailer, they're half the price of Amazon.

Bright crisp and clear
Superb picture quality and bright enough to operate during the day with ambient light. Slightly loud fan noise, Bluetooth audio has some lag.

Love everything about this projector, except for the fact that it will not bluetooth to my JBL 5.1 Soundbar. Apparently a code is missing. Thats a real shame. I have trued everything. So if there is someone out there who can assist, let me know.
