Green Screen Organic Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 31 Tinted BRONZE - Soy-Free - Vegan - Gluten-free - 8oz/230g As 2x4oz

This is a wonderful, natural sunscreen. It comes in two tints, neutral and bronze. If you have lighter pale or pink skin, the neutral will be fine. If you have medium or olive skin, the bronze is better. This lotion needs to be put in the refrigerator or else it will separate, and when you squeeze it water will squirt out. If you keep it in the refrigerator it will work very well. You only need a small amount. It goes on and covers very well. It makes your skin look absolutely beautiful and flawless, however, it will stain everything with which it comes into contact. It is very difficult to get the stains out. I have been using this for many years, and it’s not an issue for me. I do not use it on my neck or arms. I only use it on my face, and I wipe off and wash my hands when I’m done applying. It lasts for hours. It prevents sunburn. It can be a little oily, so I just use oil dabbing rice paper when I am done with it to get any excess oil off. There is no odor to the sunscreen, and it lasts a very long time, especially when you only use it for a small area like your face. I really like this sunscreen. I also like that I’m supporting a small business. Quality ingredients. It’s worth the price.

I purchased this sunscreen and I was very disappointed that after you put on this product it rubs off on everything! I live on a sailboat and was looking for an organic sunscreen to use for protection. Unfortunately, I couldn't even use it more than once because I ended up staining our cushions and rubbing off sunscreen all over our sails. It was a real bummer! I would not recommend this product if you plan on being active. If you just want to use it on your face, it has a nice tint. However don't put it on your arms or you will be leaving your mark everywhere!

I have had melasma for over ten years, and have struggled with finding a good sunscreen that helps reduce the big brown spots. I despise wearing makeup, but the brown spots are so embarassing that I used to layer on 2 kinds of sunscreen, and then I'd put on spot concealer over the darkest patches, followed by base to attempt to even out my splotches. The end result was a hot sticky mess. I avoid the chemical sunscreens as they actually make my melasma worse, and only use zinc oxide or titanium dioxide physical blockers - which usually make me look like a pale circus clown. The Organic Green Screen Kabana zinc oxide sunscreen has a much higher zinc oxide percentage than I've found anywhere else, and because it is tinted I used it daily all summer instead of any make up. At the end of the summer my melasma was better than its been in years. The only issue is that it will rub off on fabric, so I have to be careful. A finishing powder over the sunscreen does help!

Product seemed to never dry. Super thick and made me look orange. Worst part was that anything I touched the product rubbed off and stained everything

I try to avoid sunscreens that contain chemicals, such as Oxybenzone. Zinc Oxide provides a physical barrier, not a chemical one that can be absorbed into your body. This Zinc Oxide does not contain nano particles; there are unanswered questions about the safety of nano zinc. One problem which I'm willing to accept is that this product will come off easily on your cloths and anything you touch or brush against. It comes out easily in the wash, so staining is not permanent. I get the Bronze tinted one; instant tan :)

So the only thing I love about this stiff is that Zinc Oxide is the ONLY active ingredient. That's about where it ends for me. I was thinking this was tinted so that the white zinc oxide isn't as visible. However, it gets on everything. I put it on my husband's neck and immediately it went all over his collar. It was a bit hard to get the stain out as well. There are so many other brands out there that have zinc oxide as the only active ingredient and soak in enough to where you don't look like a ghost, so I'll be sticking to those.

I like how it goes on. I don’t enjoy that it gets on my clothes. Wish it came in a white or lighter tan color.
