Bio Bidet by Bemis BB-70 Simplet Freshwater Bidet Attachment for Toilet, White, Non Electric, Easy Install

I had never used a bidet before I bought this. I lived in Europe for a few years and had apartments with a bidet but didn't understand the concept very well so I never took advantage. Recently a friend of mine bought the higher end Biobidet that is heated and drys you off, etc. He lived in Japan for a few years and had gotten used to using a bidet there and raved about how his newer bidet reminded him of the tech models in Japan. Anyway, I did some research and decided that I could invest a bit of money into the concept to see if it was for me. This unit is really straight forward and easy to install. I think it is a good transition into water culture. I don't mind the cold water, as the ambient temp of water in our home doesn't vary much and it's not like you're using a gallon of water. It did startle my wife a bit as evidenced by her shriek when she first tried it. She is actually more into the whole bidet idea than I am after having used it for a couple months. I probably could not go back to just toilet paper again, it really is unsanitary when you think about it. I feel shower fresh every time I use it, which is great. The spray is pretty effective, it scales from light to as heavy as your water pressure allows. It took me about 10 minutes to install and has easy to understand instructions. It is made of fairly flimsy plastic, but I can't imagine this mattering unless you accidentally try to use it to boost yourself off the seat or something. It is cheap and performs perfectly to function. I will and already have recommended it to several associates.

I previously had two similar products from a competitor (I won't give the name, but their symbol is a gold crown). They were designed and functioned very similarly. However, those ones had plastic main supply and T-adapter. In addition, the spray jet was not removable. After a few years, and no longer under warranty, the supply hose burst - while I was at work. It flooded the bathroom and ruined the floor. The reason I chose this model was for the construction - the metal braided supply hose and solid metal T-adapter. I doubt there will be a problem with that bursting! In addition, cleaning the jet spray on the older ones was very difficult. They have a tendency to get moldy over several weeks, and the only way to clean them was to pull down the jet and brush them manually - a pain in the butt. This BioBidet model lets you easily pull out the jet and clean it in a sink. A BIG improvement. An unexpected benefit was that the jets on this model deliver a much smoother flow - plenty of water yet not so powerful as to risk 'ripping a new one' - which the other brand I had would definitely do, if you cranked it up. Painful! It took me about 30 minutes to install (each), using only an adjustable wrench. I highly recommend.

I had a minor issue while installing. Be careful to use the ptfe tape this comes with only on the threads that need it. Pressure/compression fittings don't need it and in my case caused a minor leak that took me a day to detect and resolve. This is awesome for your behind. Good pressure that can be controlled. No power required or any other thing. There is a heated version of this seat as well but the basic works great for me. Even in winters. I have been using biobidet for 5 years and this is my 3rd purchase. The first I bought on a deal site for pretty cheap. Got into bidets and this is the best thing for you and the environment. Less or no paper!

Love love love!!! Turns regular toilet into a nice bidet with simple attachment. This product is wonderful - we have purchased 4 of these for all of our bathrooms and our guests have all commented on how much they liked it. The size and quality is good - the bidet is made of hard ABS plastic which is very easy to clean, and extremely easy to install, connecting directly to fresh water supply so no electricity or batteries required, with an adjustable attachment which ensures a good fit; the solid brass valve system is very sturdy and provides much better reliability that the previous models that were plastic and often leaked after a few months, the retractable nozzle is removable to make cleaning easier, and there is a built in splash guard which is great, the pressure control is easy to use, allowing you to customize the water pressure to your own personal preference and comfort level - just be sure to start out at the lowest level and work your way; it also comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty for parts and labor, which is better than most of its competitors offering only 90 days. Would purchase this again and would recommend to others

The listing claims this has a 'universal fit' and is easy to install, but I've hired a plumber to do it and he tells me he has never seen fittings like this. He has visited several suppliers and there are no adaptors available that could make it compatible with my toilet. What a disappointing waste of time and money!

I grew up with the traditional stand-alone bidets and I like these ad-ons better. For one they don't take up any space and the water shoots up from the back as opposed to underneath. I especially like this unit. It's well-built and easy to install. A couple of things to keep in mind. 1. The unit is white and could stand out if your bidet is not the same colour. 2. The unit lifts the back of the seat about two thirds of an inch which renders the seat slanted so you will need bumpers(sold separately) to keep it level.

This product is a life-changing product and a budget changing product: if properly used you'll never feel cleaner in your life and you'll miss having this feature around on foreign toilets personally I bought a 36 roll of toilet paper this used to last a single person 3 months now with this product a 36 roll of toilet paper any inequality my last 1.25 years
