My garage is like a whole new garage!
So I couldn't seem to write a review for the whole system overall, but here goes...I decided to redo much of my garage storage and organization. I had a few things hanging on the wall here and there, a bunch of stuff piled up in the corner, some stuff on shelves that really could've been hung up, etc. The main tool used for the reorganization was the Rubbermaid fasttrack system. It ended up being a bit more expensive than I thought overall, but mainly because I kept thinking of additional uses for it and additional hooks to buy, more rails, etc.I ended up with 6 of the 48" rails and probably 20 or so various hooks. In many of the photos I saw, people had very well spaced out, nice looking displays but I was more interested in function - storing as much stuff as I could! So it might look a little chaotic, but everything has a place, and everything is easily accessible! In the main corner of the garage, I used it to store my bike mechanics rack, two snow shovels, regular shovel, two rakes, post hole digger, pole saw, chain saw, five extension cords (some on the rubbermaid extension chord adapter, which I'm not a huge fan of, but worked ok... the rest on spools hanging), dolly, three tennis rackets, two brooms, leaf blower, weed whacker, three pedestal lights, clipper, axe, sledge hammer, hand spreader, large spreader, and car duster. I also did a separate rack with my bike, helmet, pump, and shoes all hanging nice and organized!A few comments on the individual pieces:-the extension chord wrap seems poorly designed, unless mounting right near a plug. There is no way to take it off the hook and actually use the cord aside from unravelling the entire thing, disconnecting it. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't waste time with this one.-the bike mount seems good and actually spaces the bike the perfect distance from the wall, but I am nervous about it long term. It says it'll support 50 pounds. I'm not sure how heavy my bike is, but the bars "sagged" a bit when I placed the bike up there. Hopefully it'll stay sturdy!-Some of the plastic pieces that go over the rails I am nervous may not last forever... especially in the heat of the garage. We'll see how they hold up long term. The mounting of the rails itself was pretty easy. The hardest part was finding the studs (being an unfinished garage, this wasn't too hard, as the nails were still visible). I used the mounting kit, though probably could've gotten by with my own screws and anchors. I used two holes in each stud, and 2-3 anchors across the 48" rail and it went fine.Overall, I give the system five stars. I like having everything well organized!

Great storage system!
I bought this to hang my wife’s bike on the garage wall and it worked perfectly. I went to the local home store and bought some screws and wall anchors. I found the studs and used the drywall anchors as well per the instructions. There’s a number of videos online that demonstrate how to install the rail and the cover. I really didn’t think that hooking the cover over the top of the rail and “hitting” it hard on the bottom would work, but it snapped right on. I followed the instructions closely, installing the rail 4 feet above the garage floor by first finding the studs, leveling, marking and also marking additional holes every 6-8 inches for the drywall anchors. It looks clean, sturdy and was easy to install and holds my wife’s bike securely against the garage wall.

Works as Intended
I had to place one of the hooks behind the seat because the bike is heavier in the back and so the bike would slide backwards if both hooks are centered on the top tube, even though this is a carbon fiber frame bike. The hook probably works a little better with the regular steel or aluminum frame bikes because the top tube is round, unlike most carbon bikes, where the top tube is more rectangular.Still, now I have a dedicated space for my hybrid that is slightly off the floor.

Holds Your Bike Well Enough But...
A quality made bike rack but there is one annoying design flaw that you don't get with the other FastTrack holders. This rack doesn't lock in the horizontal position so if you are trying to lift up and remove a bike the rack may move with your upward motion causing you to fight to get the bike down off the rack. My wife has me getting her bike down because it moves when she attempts to take her bike down.

Bought 2 of them - work great
Decided to use fasttracks for our 2 bikes and bought 2 rails and 2 these racks. They work perfectly. One bike is about 30 lbs, the second one is much lighter. Racks are sturdy enough to hold each of these bikes. Rubber covering does not damage bike paint. Happy so far. Trivial to install, easy to move on a rail left and right.

Best bike mount!
I liked this over similar products because the rail system gives some side-to-side flexibility and you aren't stuck with placing your bike exactly where the studs are. My full suspension mountain bike bars sit out about 15" just far enough to sit against the bar end so it doesn't swing.

Strong and sturdy
I own three of these and use them to support two large mountain bikes and one road bike. They're strong and sturdy and do exactly what they're supposed to. If you have a women's frame, they bike will not sit level, but that's not a problem with the rack. The bike will stay in place just fine, but it's harder to load / unload a woman's bike than a man's.These are cheaper on Amazon than my local hardware store, as are virtually all FastTrack system components.

Terrific Bike Rack
Recently purchased the Rubbermaid FastTrack and the horizontal bike rack so that I can hang my bike in the garage instead of having to lug it out of the basement. I haven't used my bike for several years so my my plan is simple: make the bike easy to access and use it more often. Highly recommend.
