These dried longans are so fresh and full of flavor. They’re soft, slightly chewy, and naturally sweet without any added sugar or weird aftertaste. I’ve been using them in teas and traditional remedies, and they add a lovely richness—especially when simmered in hot water. The flavor is different when dried. I added them to steel cut oats with walnuts, flax, raisins and chia seeds and they were delicious once they got some rehydration!

Because I bought longan meat for the first time, I don’t know how to use it. So I immediately contacted the store, and the store was also very active in dealing with my problem and told me the suggested use of longan meat . Longan meat tastes very good, whether you eat it directly or make tea. Because the quality of the products and the positive attitude of the store, I will repurchase in the future.

My daughter was looking for a snack and because she didn’t know what these were. She pulled open the resealable package and smelled the fruit. She told me later that night as I tried to make tea for both of us with the Nestlady longyan fruit that she thought it was jerky that had gone rancid. The smell of smoke is that strong on this dried fruit. It wasn’t a good smoke flavor either, it smelled like it was dried over a fire over sticks and weeds cut while cleaning the yard. This was the day it arrived from Amazon I tried the fruit by itself and it was inedible. I have never tried longyan fruit before so I cannot compare it, but thanks to my experience with Nestlady, I won’t be trying it again. The tea made with the fruit was drinkable, but not not good. An Earthy flavor is a kind description, but dirt is more accurate, there was nothing sweet about it except the honey I had added. I threw the bag in the garbage and won’t waste my time ordering more from another vendor.

I received the item but I am not sure if it is made in Thailand because it does not say it in the packaging. I am uncertain and it raises concerns about where the manufacture of the item is from. Quality is ok. I don't see the premium in it.
