Great for applying veneer, using press panels & clamps
Just follow the YouTube recommendations & this product does a great job.

Shake well
Still is the best veneer glue, but you must shake it thoroughly. I shake for at least one minute prior to application and use a cold vacuum press for three hours to ensure proper adhesion, as I've had bubble in my veneer when only pressed for one hour.

Nice glue & easy to work with
Excellent glue for veneer. I used it with a board and clamps. Works great but does need significant dry time. Overnight worked best. Careful not to roll too much glue as it can harden into a solid ripple or bump.

Excellent adhesion without the sharp edges!
I have previously used Unibond C800, which does a nice job but dries rock hard and can leave a dangerously sharp glue line. Thought I'd try this, and I am very pleased with the results. High points: - minimal bleed through, and what little there was disappeared with the scraper - reasonable open time so I can glue up a couple of projects for pressing at the same time - easy to apply - not too thick or runny. I used foam brush Be aware of: - I read somewhere that 1-2 hours in press at 70deg F recommended, but found glue still wet and first project I removed at that time was not set and created a ridge in veneer - since leave in press more like 6 hours and nicely set and no movement ... this in PA summer temps 80+ and humid - nice result and no sharp edges to cut me. In summary I am buying more and will continue to use. Nice not to have to mix 2-part glue, and great results so far after 4 projects through press. I think the other reviews that complain of wet glue did not leave in press long enough. I strongly suggest 6!hours at 70+

Better than contact cement.
I have always hated using contact cement. S.elly and unforgiving. This has hardly any order and goes on easily and evenly. Cleans up easily and gives time to properly align materials. Holds great.

Don't waste your money
I had a big veneer project and was looking for a glue with a longer setup time. While this glue did provide a somewhat longer setup time than Titebond II it failed spectacularly during several stages of the project, leading to curling and bubbling of the veneers. I used regular Titebond II for some sections and had no problems whatsoever with those parts; I should have just used that on the whole project. Save yourself the heartache of watching your hard work fall apart because of an inferior glue. Go with the Titebond II - it's never failed me yet - and steer clear of this terrible product.

Good glue for veneer panels
Cold press veneer glue works well with all types of veneer. It gives you plenty of working time to apply to the substrate place the veneer and put in a vacuum press. It is advisable to mix the glue throughly to make sure solids are evenly distributed in the glue to minimize bleed through.

Consigliata

good product and price just the job

It is a professional product. The darkish colour does’t help if the glue penetrates the wood fibers. It has a good open time. WAIT a few minutes so the glue can dry a bit, it will be a bit less fluid before pressing.
