this supplement has been a GAME CHANGER for me. i have endometriosis and adenomyosis. this helped my endo and may be helping my adeno. before taking this product i had horrible pain on my 1st full day of my cycle- which progressed to a full 2 days. i mean lay in bed with a heating bad in excruciating pain- having to cancel work on that heavy day or 2 because i just could not do much. i now have ZERO PAIN. ZERO. i was traveling out of the country and did not have access to this brand and ran out so i got a local brand. it did nothing. i came home and got this brand again and it's helping my adeno (excessive menstrual bleeding). i was just told by a fertility acupuncturist that vitex is not good for endo or adeno as it will increase estrogen. i was like wait a second this is one of the things that has really helped me. i came home did some research- the woman was wrong (and probably because this supplement helps people heal fertility issues naturally- which would perhaps give her less business!?!). it does NOT increase estrogen- it acts on the pituitary gland and helps modulate prolactin. too much prolactin in non pregnant/non breastfeeding women is an issue as it interferes with progesterone being made. in modulating prolactin it helps the 2nd part of the menstrual cycle create the necessary progesterone. so what this supplement does is INCREASE PROGESTERONE. the balance of estrogen/progesterone is one of the main issues in endo/adeno. this product helps me immensely. i recommend it to everyone dealing with endo/adeno. there are possible side effects but i have had zero. i have only been helped by this supplement in game changing ways. i think it's worth trying- but always consult your holistic doctor (not so sure about western medical doc as they may know nothing about this) and more importantly consult your intuition and your body wisdom. i recommend googling dr axe and vitex / chasteberry to read more about this amazing herb. PLEASE NOTE- this supplement is 1000 mg. if you AI google it says the dosage is generally 20-40mg a day. i find this to be very inaccurate. dr axe mentions for endo 400 mg twice a day is recommended. and he says for endo specifically to take it everyday for 12-18 months i take the full dose of this (sometimes more) and i have had no issues. for some people they only need to take it the 2nd half of their cycle pending what their issues are- so do your research or ask your doctor. i do wonder if people who have reactions to this are on other pharma meds it negatively interacts with- and that is the reason for the side effects? i.e. if you take birth control, hormone replacement therapy or are on SSRI's i would imagine you could have negative interaction side effects. that is just my intuitive sense- i am not a doctor. anyhow- for the amount of pain i had- for this to work and i now have NO PAIN- i will scream from the rooftops how good this supplement is. be aware it can interfere with birth control, make you fertile and you can get pregnant more easily. all wonderful things for anyone trying to get pregnant- if not take extra precautions p.s. i also went on anti inflammatory diet, dealt with stress and reduced toxins in my food/water/cookware/products. but i started this herb first and my pain went away within 2 cycles

I won't lie, I was going to wait at least a couple of months to review, but I have to brag about how effective these are! For background, I wasn't getting a period for consistently for almost a year. My menstrual cycles has been all over the place, and I'll admit I blame it on stress. Anyways, I wanted something to help regulate my cycles and help me overall. I can't say much about how I feel throughout the day, as I haven't noticed much difference yet. I've only taken these for a little over a week and it brought my period back in about 6 days. I didn't expect it to happen so soon! Mind you, I still have many stressor going on and I really didnt think I would even be having a period so soon.

Better quality than other brands I’ve used and the ONLY thing that has given ANY relief from PMDD symptoms - but you have to track your cycle carefully, decreasing the dose when your estrogen levels rise and increasing the dose when your estrogen decreases. That can make it a little tricky but it’s soooo worth figuring it out.

Works great !! I just feel like it made me gain a little weight. easy to swallow, I don’t feel that there’s any taste to it while taking it. Hormones seem to be at normal. In a happier mood.

I don't think I've ever left an Amazon review in my life, but this product has been such a game changer for me. My aunt had purchased a bottle, but wasn't taking it anymore because of other health reasons so she gave it to me. I was dealing with symptoms almost identical to endometriosis, but was surgically checked and didn't have it (debilitating cycle pain along with some other symptoms). I've been using it for a couple months. I just finished my first cycle in my life with no pain. I cannot believe that I actually found a cure without prescription drugs or surgery. I hope that this lasts long term. Just reordered, definitely worth a try.

I honestly cannot recommend this supplement enough for women with PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 4 years ago when we were trying to conceive our daughter, but I'be had symptoms since I was in my teens. I had treated my symptoms with birth control, aldactone, and metformin. Even on those three prescriptions I had sporadic cycles, facial hair, ovulation pain, horribly painful periods, and breakouts. In the last year I have stopped all my meds (except metformin for my insulin resistance) and I've been doing my best treating PCOS with supplements, paleo eating, and Feldenkrais. After I started Feldenkrais I had five months of consistent cycles without birth control for the first time since my teens but my 6th cycle was close to 60 days so I was definitely off track. I had heard of Vitex berry when researching PCOS but I hadn't tried it yet so I decided to give it a try because my skin was the worst that it had been since my teens and my period was MIA. Well, my skin started to improve within 4 days and I thought it was maybe a fluke (even though I was smack dab in the middle of an incredibly stressful time with my husband in the hospital with a severely broken leg, an injured dog at home, and an exuberant 2.5 year old) but within a week of starting this supplement I got my period, and today I am officially a believer because I just realized I have my period. I say realized because I had a 30 day cycle and I have had ZERO of the typical PMS symptoms that make my period awful. Typically I have terrible back pain and cramps that put me in bed on lots of Advil, and bad breakouts and today I went to the bathroom and actually laughed that I have my period. I feel nothing, my skin is mostly clear, and I don't have crazy strong cravings. I am honestly in shock, this is the best period I can imagine having. This stuff is awesome. I am only on my 2nd bottle so I can only imagine how much better this is going to get. Seriously, just try it. I am a Vine reviewer and do often get items to review for free, but Vitex is not one of those items. I bought this myself and I will continue to buy it for as long as I see these incredible results. Life changing for PMS week only usage. I take this for the 2 day window right after ovulation when your hormones drop, then again in the days right before my period. It's the best brand out there! You must replace your electrolytes when taking this, chasteberry is a diuretic, so take magnesium glycinate, get sodium (I drink broth) and drink extra water to feel your best.
