A must have for anyone who loves the classic. Beautiful Norman Rockwell illustrations!

These books are controversial. A subject of periodic book banning efforts and frequent public scorn, the author and his best known works are avoided by parents and derided by culture politicos for his use of "the vernacular," especially the frequency of the notorious "n word." The controversy has been raging since it's publication. But I bought this edition for my grandson in the hope that the stories will spark his imagination and ignite his curiosity as they did for me when my father read the story to me over 60 years ago. The slip case and gorgeous illustrations are very nice too.

Beautiful editions with classic Norman Rockwell illustrations. Should be required reading.

Great set, purchased for daughter , sure she will love and enjoy

I purchased this set of classic books for a young boy. I know it will be part of his library his whole life and I am sure he will pass it on to his children.

Picture of books larger than actual books. Some what misleading.

The box and books came in good quality. I think the kids will enjoy the pictures and we'll be able to keep it for years to come. Much more aesthetically pleasing than some other versions

Lecture

I have several editions of these books as they are my favorite novels and this is by far the highest quality one. They are cloth-bound, beautiful paper, lovely sewn binding. The book can be opened all the way without damaging the spine, so it's very comfortable to read. It's an excellent price for such high quality binding.
