Perfectly Functional “MINI” sized DPDT ON OFF ON switches at bargain bulk price Please study these reviews carefully because some of the reviews are about different products. These are the solder terminal panel mount MINI size DPDT switches. These are a bargain bulk price, about $1.10 each, in a nice box with all the needed accessories: washer, lock nut, and flexible waterproof cap. I gave these panel mount switches the highest possible rating because they are superior quality switches exactly as described. I never exceed the manufacturers specifications for voltage and current. These switches have a crisp throw that makes a snapping sound with a solid feeling flip to a fixed position and with good electrical contact connections. Some of the reviewers unfairly rated these switches with a lower rating because the reviewers themselves were incorrect about the size of these switches. Apparently the reviewers were surprised that these labeled “MINI” switches were indeed “MINI” sized. Yet the website description clearly states the size as “MINI”. AND the website description states verbatim, “Main Body Size : 13 x 10 mm / 0.5" x 0.4". Please see my attached photographs that show some measurements. Some of the reviewers unfairly rated these switches with a lower rating because the reviewer did not understand the industry standard switching type nomenclature. These are ON OFF ON DPDT switches. The switch lever stays put, clicked into position, in the left ON, or the middle OFF, or right ON position. There are six terminals. I started to explain the wiring but because there are so many possibilities my review got overly long. It is much easier to look at the drawing of the circuit than to explain every connection. DPDT On Off On Functions like two separate SPDT switches operated by the same actuator. In the middle OFF position there are zero contact connections.

I ordered and received these DPDT toggle switches but they came without the weatherproof caps. I then contacted the manufacturer and I got a reply very quickly. They were very apologetic and immediately sent out another order of switches which included the weatherproof caps. I used the switches for my project and they worked like a charm. I soldered wires directly to the terminals without any problems, the switches did not melt as stated in other reviews. Maybe the other users applied too much heat for too long a time. Soldering takes practice and the wire and connection must be clean or the solder won't flow properly. You can also use soldering paste or flux to help make the solder flow properly. Excellent product and Excellent customer service!

Good Product

These are nice little switches but you can't linger or the case will start to melt. Make sure your wire is already tinned, the terminals fluxed, and iron nice and hot and preloaded with a drop of solder. If you don't get it right away, let the switch cool down before another attempt.

Worked perfectly for my project for use in an outdoor control box to switch on/off my outdoor amplifier inside the control box. This switch has a weatherproof cover and it has worked great and held up in some of our harshest rainstorms in Florida, as well as our intense heat.

Overall I like the switches works well and it has a nice crisp feal I just don't like how the switch stays in the on or off position till switched back to off I know that some people are wanting that but I need my switches to auto go back to off once I let off the switch

Item is as described and do what they were intended for. The came in a nice plastic box and ALL of the hardware was present. Great buy compared to local shops one off prices. Mitch

Not much to say, they appear well made and make a satisfying "click" when you switch them. Looking forward to using these on a few R/C projects. One suggestion: if you use the rubber waterproof cover, put a TINY drop of silicone lubricant inside the sleeve. This makes it much easier to screw the sleeve base onto the switch, and also reduces resistance on the inside of the sleeve when you move the switch back and forth. Like butter!

Plenty of them is perfect

Body does not withtand even the lowest temperture required to solder wires to tags.If you do not watch the secconds the body starts melting and the tags move or sink in the body. When cooled off the stuff hardens and so far switches still worked for me. Try to not go over 200 Celsius and 3 seonds.
