Good Product
I like the no salt (supplement taste by adding no salt dash herbs).

Taste good
I didn’t like that the majority of the cans were smashed in some way.

Manufacturer CHANGED the RECIPE to a WATERY THIN CONSISTENCY & Increased PRICE!
New update, this soup is made with CANOLA OIL which is a very unhealthy to consume as it is highly processed and results in trans fatty acid which act like free radicals and create major inflammation in the body. This leads to heart disease, cancer, stroke and nerve damage. Stay away from anything with this ingredient. I don’t care if it says cold expressed. It’s still canola oil and very harmful to one’s health. Updated revised review from 5 star to 1 Star. I reordered this soup and had to wait a few months because it was sold out due to COVID. Previously it was a great soup that merited a 5 star review on my part. However this new re- order batch was a THIN, WATERY CONSISTENCY. It is no longer a hearty soup that had body to it. It tastes like it is half water and half ingredients! When the can is opened and inverted to add to a pot, it’s completely liquid. It used to be that a spoon was needed to empty its entire contents. Evidently the company is looking to increase its profits by cutting down on ingredients and adding more water, yet it felt justified in INCREASING THE PRICE! Clearly they are taking advantage of an emergency crisis when people are out of work but in dire need of prepared foods! This is so egregious and disappointing! The lentil soup used to a great hearty soup that was flavorful and healthy.

Try adding some KCl if your diet allows
As many have observed this soup is a little tasteless unembellished straight out of the can. No surprise given it is just about the lowest sodium canned soup you can buy. Taking sodium out once it's in there is impossible but adding non-sodium seasoning is easy. Adding some sodium free salt like Potassium Chloride and some fresh ground pepper helps wake it up for me. I also noticed as others have that most of the cans are dented. That's a bit disappointing given what we are paying for this. Hard to say where in the process the rough handling occurred. All things considered I will probably buy more when this case is gone.

Arrived in good shape, with lower sodium level than shown online- so even better.
I was cautious to order this soup online due to all the dented can reviews. My local Kroger's stopped selling it, so I gave it a shot. There was one can with a small dent, most of the cans just had small label tears and scrunches. Also the labels here online show a higher salt content than what I had been buying at the store, so I have added a pic of the actual label I received. Also - the can says don't add water, but I usually add about a quarter can of water, and like it just fine. Hope this helps.

These discounted boxes are all SECONDS (i.e. low quality batches). Please read for details.
I LOVE this low-sodium brand and this soup, but customers should know that when they buy these discount 12-packs, they're getting what is known as 'seconds' also known as BATCHES THAT FAILED QUALITY CONTROL and sold at a discount. In practice, that usually means dented cans (not a problem in my experience, the food is fine) or extremely watery soup (as in almost no chicken or rice). If I could request only dented cans, I'd keep buying. But you never know what they'll send you. You might get 12 cans of watery soup, which does not represent the delicious real deal. For what it's worth, if you do get a watery can, try adding lots of corn and onion, both low-sodium and really good, to bulk it up. But that just means you're paying for your own ingredients instead of just the soup. Alternately, just buy this soup at the ~$5 price you'll find elsewhere on Amazon. It's a drag, but niche food (like low-sodium) is bound to cost more than your average can of Campbells. If I can find a way to get the lower price without the lower quality, I'll update this review. Good luck!

I'M NOT A HIG SOUP EATER, BUT...
Want to get your Veggies. This delicious/nutritious soup is rightly called Vegetable Soup. It contains nine vegetables: Potatoes, Carrots, Tomatoes, Corn, Onions, Celery, Green Beans and Spinach. And if you care, it is Organic, Non GMO, Gluten-Free. It is also Salt Free which for me is bland tasting. I solved that by simply adding salt to suit my taste and thought it Delicious. Remember you can add salt, but not remove it. And the entire 15 oz can is only 160 calories. I rate it Thumbs Up. I
