Fits my 15 hand quarter horse
This is a good quality item, it doesnt slip and it has lots of nice rings for different head carriage. It is a bit small but if your horse puffs his stomach out like mine does thats why. It has padding on the inside for your horses withers. Works great for my 15 hand horse but just takes a little effort to get on. Overall love this product!

It was put to the test
This bad boy was put through the ringer, but held up to my bucking bronc and didnโt shift at all. Heโs 14.3h Arabian and the only negative was that it barely fits and is a bit too large. I know others complained that it was too small, so I wanted to make small horse owners aware that itโs not necessarily true for every horse. This barely fits my guy on the smallest settings, but overall Iโm happy with the quality for the price. The important thing is that it didnโt shift on my unruly youngster.

Decent quality but may need to buy a girth extender also if you donโt have a pony.
Edit: after several months of use, it is holding up swimmingly! Have had zero issues with rubs or scratches and it was a great primer for an actual driving harness. This was perfect for what I needed, a tool to start training my western riding horse to drive after his riding career ended. It is high enough quality to be durable and perfectly fine for what I need. It does not feel like it will fall apart any time soon. I gave it four stars only because it did not fit him, and I had to buy a girth extender for it, but it was very close, so the girth extender makes it a bit loose. Loose is fine for driving, but Iโd never ride If the girth on a saddle was that loose. My horse isnโt a pony but heโs not all that big either. Heโs about 15.2 and roughly a 1000 lb walking horse, so while this might fit a cob or an Arabian, itโs not going to fit a horse that is a bit bigger around the middle. But for the price, plus the price of a cheap girth extender, I canโt complain.

I really like this Surcingle
I really like this Surcingle... IT IS SMALL! It fits around my 2 yr old stocky paint mare, but NOT my 7yr old stocky quarterhorse Gelding, and it does not fit my 4 yr old HUS quarter horse gelding. But if you are using it for a young horse, then it should work... OR you can buy a nylon girth extender (on amazon for 15 dollars) and it will work for bigger horses. I have seen other reviews about it not having much padding... I don't know how much padding you would need, but its like a neoprene girth that you would use on a western saddle (all the way around)... Its kind of squishy, so I think there is enough padding. And I like that the rings on it are reinforced. Over all this is a really good buy for the money.

Itโs not bad but not great.
This surcingle is pretty well made. It could have more padding at the withers. My biggest criticism is that there are no rings on the girth for anchoring a martingale type set up. Wuh?? I have other English girths I can use. Also this is quite small. We are using it on an 850 lb 2 yr old and are on the last half of holes. It fits perfectly. But any full bodied horse might not.

It works great
A wee bit small for my Appendix. I used baling twine as extender. Never slid. Liked the big circles to run long lines through.

Good product for the price
Itโs good quality! I just have one horse and wonโt use it very often so it works well for my needs. If you are starting a lot of colts, I would go with a sturdier, leather surcingle.

Very well worth the money
A little larger then I thought, a little too big for our yearling so added some extra saddle blankets. But absolutely great quality and super soft and nice to work with.

Great quality
I read a review on here that this was close to pony size. NOT TRUE this is a horse size. If you want to use it for a pony you'll have to buy a smaller girth. Amazing quality. This was a great buy. The rings do fit lunge clasps through them

Small
Good quality but not for a horse. I have a 14 hand 100 lbs mare and itโs an easy 4-6 inches to short. I would size it for a med size pony.
