Good purchase, good tank I would buy from them again...
The tank turned out to be a good purchase... What I didn't know is that according to the companies that refill these cute little tanks, unless you are in a large city, it will take up to a month to get owner filled tanks filled. The alternative I was given was that I exchange this new tank for the used owner classified tank they had on hand. I wasn't very keen about that. In researching more, many of the tanks bought on Amazon are not properly certified. (This brand was). They said that the DOT Number was said not to be complete, but they accepted the tank anyway because there was a DOT number present DOT 3AA... I suggest that you find out what the requirements of your local industrial refill facility has before you purchase theis and verify that these tanks can be refilled or exchanged as owner tanks. I also found out that if I had purchased the tank locally, it would have cost up to $30.00 more and I would still have gotten a used tank that they exchange out. What a quandary for me. The saving grace is that the Acetylene tank is pressure tested every 25 years... so that is not an issue. Since I live out in the country and a few hundred miles from a large city that has a filling facility, this was the best choice for me and I am happy with it. Bottom line, the seller was great, their service was great, and I would buy from them again...
