HAWK GAZER LG9 Low Profile Rechargeable Green Laser Sight, for Handgun, Pistol, Rifle with Rails

I thought I had this right because the description said it fit an HK P30. What I learned was that it is about 2mm out of fit for a HK P30 SK. It is going back and I shall continue my adventure finding a laser that does fit the short barrel. In terms of the laser, this is of excellent quality. This is the second time I have been burnt by a lack of real world descriptions. This has an easy mounting system for the picatinny rail. My rail is too short. The laser beam is bright green and very strong. This will be easy to see. You must use the attached cable to charge the battery for 1.5 hours. The device is firmly made and extremely light. I doubt you could tell it is mounted on the pistol. Even better it has two easy to get at buttons on the side to turn off and on. If you hold the button for 3 sec the laser will strobe. This laser is very nice... No more laser attempts for me until I am ++++ it will fit my pistol. Far too many laser advertisements are vague. This company was the most honest in that it did have a list of pistols it does fit. Problem is that without some other designation it is easy to make a mistake. You will love this thing if it fits your pistol. Good luck.

My only complaints would be the fastening bolt is a bit long, the head sticks out a bit and I feel needs to be sanded down so it doesn't catch on a pocket or holster. Also, the button is a bit sensitive, turns on with only slight pressure. Otherwise it is a great value.

Love the fit on my S&W, it is bright and stays charged for a reasonable amount of time, also love that I can charge it and not have to use batteries. It’s fairly accurate and easy to adjust, stays on target after putting some rounds down range. Not a bad price and a pretty decent laser, would recommend.

I use these on a 45 caliber pistol and a 9mm pistol. It is bright and does not go out of alignment when the guns are shot. I have been using these to a couple of years and never had to realign either one.

The device was easy to install, adjust, and was extremely accurate. It worked great dry firing with a laser bullet and when I took it to the range the first time and fired a box of bullets. I am retired law enforcement and can carry concealed in every state and territory IF I qualify once a year with a qualified LEO Agency. I am almost 80 and seeing the target at 15 yards is fetting harder which is why I bought the sight in the first place. On the day of qualification, it worked for 6 shots, all at 3 feet which is not where I really needed it. When the target was moved out to the 3-yard line, it stopped working. Luck that I was still able to score a 90 and qualify, but no thanks to this sight!!! It failed me for what I bought it for. Lasted for maybe 100 dry fires and maybe 56 live rounds before it failed!! I would replace the battery, but I have not been able to find a way to do that. Very good idea, but not dependable enough for what it costs. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS SIGHT UNTIL THE MANUFACTURER ASSURES THAT THE BATTERY PROBLEM IS SOLVED!!

The laser mounts very easily and shows up at a very good distance and clarity. The on/ off buttons are very sensitive and that can be a good or bad thing depending upon the circumstances you are using it in. The profile when it is mounted on the firearm is outstanding so nice and form fitting and super low profile I would just like to see a choice of colors for the laser body so it could blend into the weapon even better i.e at this time I have the laser mounted on a brown frame polymer semi auto firearm and a brown colored laser body would be such a dream!! One down side is the cover for the charging port won't stay shut please develop a better cover for that port!!!!

Always need to adjust on my 9mm. Will not hold zero. Laser is super bright

Had an expert at the range check alignment and it was dead on at 50ft from the factory. Went to the range a few times, then it sat for a few weeks and worked fine the next time I took it out. Can't say how fast the battery discharges from just sitting since there isn't a meter, but it doesn't seem like an big issue for mine at least. I'll probably charge once a month if it's not used, maybe less. Still would prefer something with swappable batteries, but for the price you can't go wrong with this.

Really dissapointed. Im glad I didnt have the day planned out to sight in my gun. The thing wouldnt turn on. No charging no light nothing. To return I have to print out a lable and send it back. Not impressed
