Fun Express 12 Tie-Dyed Drawstring Tote Bags

It really is minor, but I can't give 5 stars if I have to do the final work. On many, if not most of the bags, I had to tie the draw strings back together. I do endorse the bags. You just need the keep in mind you'll have to take one step to finish the manufacturer's job. I didn't have any seam problems.Update: One year laterI'm still using these bags. I use them for storage of various items. Some bags I access more often than others. I've had no issues with any of them. Once I tied the strings back together originally, they stayed (I must be strong, strong, strong). But still, I open each bag and empty it at least once a month. Every single one is holding together and working well. One bag I use almost daily without issue.I guess the keys to success with the bags are to read the description to understand the size (and what "inches" means), don't give them to three-year-olds, and don't pull the threads.

The package indicates these came from Oriental Trading Co. so if you are familiar with that brand you probably know what to expect in terms of quality. Drawstrings are made of braided, soft nylon rope. Bag is constructed from thin, printed broad cloth. They have a cotton feel, but the wrong side of the fabric has a sheen, so I suspect it's a cotton/synthetic blend. They are unlined. Stitching is about what you'd expect. I received two of each color pictured. Flat they measure about 7.5" wide by 10" tall, and the drawstring channels are about an inch of the height. I purchased these to store tarot decks in my collection that are unused but have no box or one of those large bookshelf boxes.Most importantly, I am pleased to report that they successfully hold stuff.

For such a low price- I was not expecting these bags to be so nice. I LOVE them. The colors are great. I found the quality and material to be very good. I have already re-ordered a 2nd package of them. I am using them in some Bunco Starter kits I am selling and using them to put store some of the materials- a bunch of sticky note pads, dice and pens. They are perfect and look so cute. For those commenting on the bags being too small or two large- probably best to actually look at the measurements= 7 1/2x 10 inch. Kind of hard to complain about the bags being too small or large if you don't even measure it out for what you are wanting to use them for. Just a thought :) For the price- you cannot beat it!

I bought these to fill with treats and favors for the guests attending my daughter's spa-themed birthday party. They served that purpose perfectly. The knots in the drawstrings do come undone. Not just "easilly"...for us it was a guarantee as every knot came undone. At first I totally blamed myself because one of the items we put inside was an 8oz bottle of water so I figured maybe those were just too heavy for the bags but the same thing happened to the three "leftover" bags that we didn't use for the party that never contained bottles of water.Now really that's no big deal at all...just tie the knots back together and Hooray! - Problem solved! But if you want to avoid a slightly awkward moment when everyone picks up their bags and every knot unties I recommend tightening the knots before handing them out as favor bags or using them in general.

I should have read the other reviews. These are not what I wanted, but considering the price, I don't think it's fair to give them a bad review. For less than a dollar a bag, I guess you can't expect much. I am using them to tame feral kittens. You put the cat in the bag and tie it around it's neck, then you don't get shredded by claws. Well, the kittens have shredded these bags. The fabric is light and I suppose that's to be expected for the price, but the least they could have done is sew them properly. It is a very sloppy sewing job, so I'm knocking points off for that.

These bags were fun and large enough to fit two water bottles, two packs of gum, and a note for our guests. They were a hit and we couldn't be happier!There was one drawback, though. We purchased 3 sets of 12 however our grand total came out to be 33 bags instead of the expected 36. Fortunately that was enough for our guests. I have yet to contact the seller about this but plan to.I would give this item 5 stars if it weren't for that one mishap. Otherwise, great bags!

I am a teacher and bought these to give end of the year gifts in. They are very chincy and the exact size the state (a book barely fit inside) They also had a little bit of a foul smell when I received them that I had to febreeze them and spray perfume. (I feared if I washed them they would call apart. I also thought they were more like the drawstring backpacks, not pouches. For the price, I would probably get them to use as a gift bag but know they might need some work before you give them out.

For the most part these bags are pretty good. I wish they were cotton instead of polyester but they wash up well and I'm happy with them. I did have one bag with the mismatched strings. I got a pink bag that had one pink and one red string so that one looks a little weird but the others were all fine.

Bags were the perfect size! One came a bit damaged but i glued it shut.
