This spice is better than I thought and expected. Completely worth the price. It really adds a natural and rich flavor to your foods. I have used it twice so far to make "Tacos al pastor" with much success. I am completely glad I decided to purchase this specific item. I will continue to purchase this item when I consume what I currently have. Highly recommended. Note: Just like in the image, you do get that big space that could have been filled with extra spice. However, this stuff will last, if you are looking to use it occasionally, or if you will use mildly to add to recipes. Remember: although delicious, this can be quite spicy if used in high quantities!

This spice came in a large container, but I make a lot of barbeque rubs. So, I am using it at a rate that it will not get stail. The flavor and color are wonderful. I will be buying more from Spiceology.

You can smell the difference between this and other spices. They’re fresh. You can tell because the flavor of the chiles still has the citrus notes you’d get on the palate if you had grown them yourself. The chiles have depth to their flavor and it’s not just heat you get from this blend. There is a complex mix of sweetness and a slight bitterness from the roasting too. Overall it’s very versatile. And hotter than you think you’d normally get in a bulk spice mix.

Not all roasted and smoked Chipotle chili powders are the same. This is a great for the money. And I have used many other brands. It smells so good (careful) it's like an air freshener. Don't underestimate the kick.
