Awesome product, thanks for keeping it pure and affordable.
This product is absolutely pure. Smells completely natural. My skin looks healthier than it has in years. I have used many products. They look great when applied. Just disappeared pretty quickly. This lanolin doesn’t disappoint. Cover my face nightly no stain on linens. Skin is looking so much better. Lots of medical mess and meds and age. This product has helped me see a visual improvement. My skin has improved significantly. I am not interested in turning back the clock, just not interested in racing it. You will not be disappointed with this one. Oh and my feet look normal again. No lines and dryness.

I mix it with coconut oil & it's the BEST for dry skin.
I love how soft my hands get while knitting with minimally-processed wool yarn, so this is perfect for me. Guess what? Lanolin is the grease that comes from sheepswool, so yes it's sticky. It's removed from fleece before making most wool yarns, and good for the farmers who can sell it instead of throwing it out. It does not have hay, dirt or poop in it! It has an unusual light scent but you won't smell like a farm. It's as organic as you can get. If you have a princess nose or would never pet a farm animal, just keep using perfumed petroleum products. Wet your hands, use a tiny bit of lanolin and gently rub it in. It goes on easier when it's lightened up with coconut oil (or olive, or whatever). Great for legs after shaving, hands, cuticles, heels, or any dry winter skin. This tub will last forever, so it's a real bargain.

I didn't want to use petroleum jelly on my face. This is perfect for slugging.

Great Results, Not Great Smell
Like some others have noted, this is not my favorite smelling lanolin. To be clear - I love the natural smell of lanolin. Yes, it is naturally a very animal/farm/barn related sort of smell. My mom used it when I was a kid and the scent lingered with me strongly enough that I was able to discover it anew as an adult... so scent memories served me well. That said, the particular container I received has a kind of... dirty? unfresh? sort of smell to it. There is the natural scent of lanolin that I know but then it is mingled with this almost dirty-musty smell like something that's been half buried in the back of an abandoned shed. Not earthy-dirty. Just dirty. I only took off one star for the scent because it isn't the most offensive scent - I just don't want to use this on my lips because of proximity to my nose. I will still use it as it does provide the protection and nourishment for my skin, but I will also hope that my previous preferred brand will come back in stock soon (NOW brand).

Great product!
I'm happy with this product. I have used it to lanolize my wool diaper covers and on my lips to prevent chapping. Amazing! Yes, it has a little bit of a smell but it's not too strong (I'm pregnant so if it was it would bother me). My cats were interested in the lanolin smell tho lol.

Fantastic softner
Although it states for nipples, I use it for my heels or any rough patches. I burned my hand cooking and used it for that. It healed quickly without leaving a mark. It is thick, thicker then petroleum jelly (dense). So if you use it on your feet wear socks. Some reviews state it smells but I didnt notice any bad smell.

Happy Hands
This is great lanolin. I slather it on my hands and put on cotton gloves at night. My cuticles and hands age backwards and in the morning, I have beautiful, supple skin. I don't know where they source the lanolin, where the sheep graze, what they eat, is it organic, whether the have sheep friends, room to run, frolic in the sun and live a joyous life. I couldn't find this information on their website. This is important to me. Going forward I'll get in touch with Piping Rock for the inside scoop on the sheep supplying their lanolin or purchase from a small batch brand with happy sheep.

WOOL BY-PRODUCT WOOL ALLERGY
This is not what I thought lanolin would be like. I pictured white and creamy. It's yellow and waxy. I received it after just making a tiny batch of lotion. So I dug out a little and rolled it into a ball, warning it s but and then dumped it in my lotion and just stirring and squishing and it added A very nice dimension to the lotion. I'm trying to make less greasy lotion and this was successful with Shea and aloe and some other ingredients. Can't say if it would make something non greasy by itself but it felt like it also leaves a bit of a protective layer even 2 hours later. With winter here that's a yaymen!!!! UPDATE: hands turned deep red as if 'burned. That can't be good! Realized that lanolin is a wool by-product. I can't wear wool due to allergy, but I still thought this would be okay, but sadly it wasnt. I tried to return it, but I never receivd the paperwork from company that Amazon said was necessary. Cheesey. Amazon sells it, they should take it back without addiional paperwork from another company that never sends the paoerwork. I'm sure it will be great for some people, just maybe not for people with wool allergies.

It's a nice, thick jelly type moisturizer. I use it in cold winter months to protect my hands from the pesky redness that tends to appear in the freezing weather even with mitts or gloves.

I have no doubts about the product quality. The issue is that it smells like wet sheep’s wool. And it’s very greasy. I couldn’t find any practical way to use it without getting it all over my clothes or anything else it came in contact with. It also can’t be used around other people due to the smell.
