Frigidaire EFR840 Retro Mini Fridge with Freezer & Side Bottle Opener - Small 2 Door Refrigerator for Office Bar or College Dorm Room - 3.2 Cu Ft, Black

This item is quiet and goes to work the minute you plug it in. It’s not as heavy as you think it’s going to be. I brought it up a flight of stairs by myself and I am not particularly strong. It looks nice and so far it’s doing a very good job of cooling drinks and the freezer portion is also working well. I put some ice in the freezer and it has stayed solid without any issues. It doesn’t take up very much space and I have this one plugged in my home office and so far there’s been no issue.

When my main refrigerator started acting up, I did not want to be without some form of refrigeration, so I bought this as a spare. People have spare tires in their cars, so why not have a spare refrigerator as well? The unit works great - nice and quiet. The separate freezer is bigger than it looks from out side. The specs list it as a 1 cubic foot, and it gets nice and cold. It takes about 2-3 hours to cool down, as far as I am concerned. There are no exposed cooling coils in the cabinet, but you can feel the cooling action on the back and sides of the freezer and refrigerator cabinet. I would rather have the old fashioned grill type shelf, since it would be better for circulating the cold air, but the glass shelves do give it a more unexpected upscale look for its small size, especially when the light goes on when you open the door. With the separate freezer, the whole thing likes like a miniature top freezer refrigerator, which why I bought it. Another plus is that it has a defrosting drain, and moisture drip pan over the compressor, so even while it is manual defrost, there would be less work to get rid of the melted frost water.

Works great, and I get tons of compliments on the retro look of it, which was one of the reasons I bought it. It has a total 50’s-60’s feel to it, including the bottle opener on the side which gets used on a regular basis.

Great storage space for fruits, veggies, & smoothies. It also has that very appealing retro look. Refrigerator and Freezer both work very well. No noticeable motor noise. The temp. control box interferes with storage. Door rack & crisper also interfere with amount able to be stored. Very cheap door handles, and one needed to be super-glued (wouldn't click into place). There was one very small dent in top. A GREAT addition to my room, enabling me to store everything I need for healthy smoothies.

after 7 months the fridge stopped working. I followed all instruction carefully to make Sure i had done everything correct, but it just stopped. I unplugged it and plug back in a wt worked for a day or 2 then stopped again. I tried aging to unplug and plug back in, this time it didnt work. so I tried to call tech support. you know what worse that having a faulty product? trying to get tech support to help with it . Now I have to take pictures fill out all kinds of info and a video and explain the problem all in one email. THIS IS SUCH A HASSLE. Things never used to be like this. Im going to try and get the support I need and if they dont do anything. then that the last time I make a purchase like this. ITS ridiculous to have to go through so much trouble to get help for a product that should at least last a few years. IM DONE !

Great little fridge for my office. Gets pretty cold for the fridge part and the freezer works well and keeps food frozen easily. Love it and makes it easy to keep my meal prep at work.

Product came exactly as described, packaged well and easy to set up. It looks great, the freezer is large, and there’s plenty of space in the bottom part. It’s super quiet and fits well in my small apartment. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Love this little fridge for my office. The freezer has plenty of space and having it as a separate compartment means I have more room in the refrigerator portion. The clear drawer compartment is easily removable, it is on the floor next to my fridge in case I do need it in the future. I never hear it cycle, so I would say it is very quiet. Ice cubes stay frozen, yogurt stays cold. The cobalt blue color is a nice little boost of cheer!

This is a funky little fridge for a games room or home office. Works well, looks great. The measurements are a little off reading larger than it is. Still a great size and cools and freezes perfectly!

Purchased to go with the them of a rec room. Only been plugged in for about a month so far, but it seems to work great. Maintains a constant temperature in both the freezer section and the fridge section, is very quiet.

Freezer constantly melts everything, temperature is inconsistent Handles are cheap plastic,so is front bottom sticker which is white, even though it looks silver in the picture. There is a dipstick going to a drip tray from the inside of the fridge that doesn't seal, and there is no mention of it in the manual, also not self defrosting like most fridges are in this day and age Seems like a cheap knock off
