For me this is a fill in when I don't have time to do the boil up herbs that must sit for 12 hours. The taste is slightly different, but it's the medicinal aspect that's most important to me. The bags are substantial enough to keep the finer blend herbs from escaping; it doesn't squeeze well but that's minor.

I boil 3 + cups n Cool then put in ice cube trays, & take 3 cubes ea mirning in warm water w lemon ice cubes AMAZING
