The product is a great product overall. Would definitely recommend. Feels a little expensive per serving but when compared to energy drinks or pre-workout it is a better value. Not much to say for flavor because there is a slight taste that’s not good initially but it does come through after that initial little bit I prefer the mint because it over powers that first odd taste. As for the gum it has helped with my training for my next half marathon I feel and it is great to avoid the dry mouth that sometimes comes with running. The two pack is great because I can start with one price and if it is a longer run the I can grab the second price for that extra kick in the middle of the run. The packaging is great because I fold it and no sweat gets through to the gum so it stays fresh. Also I like running on an empty stomach is there is nothing I have to put in my stomach like a pre-workout or energy drink.

There was an after taste that I didn't particularly like, however it did have an energy boost that I did like.

I am very disappointed. This gum is absolutely "un-chewable". It is stale & tasteless! Do not waste your money!

This was my first time trying Run Gum. I didn't like the fruit flavor too much. I think next time I will try the mint. It work great though! I went for a trail run that was supposed to be 14 miles. I ended up bonking due to humidity and the heat index hitting 100 degrees. I went 8 miles and then I had to take my kids to the lake to meet up with some friend. I took Run Gum after the run and it worked like magic! I went swimming with the kids, then knee boarding for the first time, came home to do yoga for 45 minutes and then rode my bike to the grocery store hauling my kids in the trailer. Great product! It is perfect for someone who wants the energy without the calories too.

I have been using Run Gum for about 8 years now, off and on. To be honest, I've never noticed much of an energy boost, at least with only one piece of gum. The other negative is the flavor does not last long at all. The positive with the Fruit flavor is it's my favorite flavor by far.

Starts crumbly then kinda disintegrates. Also, after the first minute when the sugary sweetness wears off, it tastes horrid. The aftertaste takes a minute to wear off even after spitting it out. Far worse than other brands I’ve tried. Upside: definitely woke me up without jitters and no headache from caffeine withdrawal today, so it definitely does the job. I’m not sure if I’ll stick with it.

I read a lot of reviews that said the flavor wasn't great, and the only ones where I didn't see much of that were for the fruit flavor, so that's what I went with. Yeah. The flavor still ain't great. It's acceptable. It's not terrible. But it also just tastes like cheap 25 cent gum you get out of a gumball machine that's been sitting there for 3 years. Funnily enough, it tastes BETTER as the flavor fades. Flavor was gone in the 5 minutes it took me to write this review. I've only had a single tablet so far, so I can't quite speak to the effectiveness of the energy boost, but overall I'd say it's okay at best. I'm not seeing any texture issues with the fruit kind though. Seems to hold together just fine. Am I likely to buy it again? Eh, probably not. I only bought it because I had heard about it on YouTube and thought I'd give it a try. It's alright, I guess. Not terrible, not great.

For those who cannot drink coffee before a run or race this has been a life saver! Also helps you during your run! I chew the first piece a few minutes before my run and one towards the end of my run. The fruit flavor is the best and last the longest. Also, be careful if you use energy gels. You don't want to consume too much caffeine! My gels are caffeine free and I have no problems.
