Great product that works! However, if you are on any antidepressant medicines, PLEASE consult your doctor first. Had a bad reaction with meds, but can confirm it is a valid active high potent product. No after taste or fish burps. Smell is high hint of strawberry with a minor fish, but very manageable.

I’ve been taking Nordic Natural supplements for years and the DHA are my favorite.

I got these to take during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. They are better in terms of DHA content and value than the prenatal DHA product offered by this brand. I took two capsules per day while pregnant and one capsule per day while breastfeeding. The bottle indicates that these are …. strawberry flavored, which was honestly a turn off while I was pregnant because I was nauseated pretty much the whole time and did not feel interested in taking a strawberry-flavored capsule (I was, to be clear, *particularly* not into the idea of taking strawberry-and-fish-flavored capsules or supplements of any kind). I had also taken fish oil supplements via capsule before my pregnancy and earlier, in my pregnancy, and they caused (forgive me) extremely gross fish oil burps from about 30-90 minutes after I took my dose. Each time. Ugh. Unpleasant. Unsustainable. Undesirable. You get the idea. With these there are no burps of any kind. Strawberry, fish-strawberry, or other. And that works for me.

I was due for my annual contact lense eye exam and was surprised that my vision in my right eye was improved to 20/40 and the Dr. said I could actually drive without lenses even though my left eye was still pretty bad. I had switched to bifocal lenses last year (I'm 44) and kept complaining that I wanted the print bigger! She explained that fluctuations in eye acuity do happen and since I had Radial Keratotomy surgery about 20 years ago, before Laser surgery was mainstream, that my aging eyes could now be benefiting more from that surgery years ago. At the time it only improved my eyesight by 50% and had to continue wearing lenses. I told her I had been taking many fibromyalgia supplements and maybe that was it. She really wasn't sure why I had the sudden improvement. I went back 2 weeks later with the lenses she had me try out. I had to eventually put them back in when things got blurry over the next couple of days. She decided to try a different strength lense for another 2 week trial. In the meantime I had put the whole family on fish oil supplements for multiple reasons (especially a child with ADHD) I thought that high levels of DHA were important, only to find out that high EPA or 7:1 ratio EPA to DHA is what is suppose to be better, so I decided to use up pills (2/day) myself. I can now see from both eyes extremely well and read fine print without a problem! There is a slight-moderate decrease on the left eye. I am going to make an appointment this week to get checked again. I do need lenses if things get blurry again. I will post the results of my next visit. The strawberry is pleasant with no "fish burps". I find the whole experience interesting and keep telling my husband "I've been healed!" Lets hope it is not a fluke!

After reading about the correlation between early onset dementia and low levels of DHA, I decided to get this supplement for an aging family member. I'm an RN, so I researched this product thoroughly to check for potential side effects, medication interactions, and appropriateness for use. I'm hoping that this will help and although there is no cure for dementia, it is possible that this may temporarily improve and slow down many of the symptoms that we're seeing. I will update my review after 30 days to indicate whether this seems to have any positive effect, or none at all, on problems associated with early dementia. Update: After one month, there is a noticeable improvement in mood, mental sharpness, and a little bit less forgetfulness for the person I bought this for. I've reordered 2 more bottles. Update #2: Massive improvement in mood, but level of memory has slightly plateaued. It's still better than our original baseline of symptoms, so we will keep ordering this supplement.

Helps with neural tube development, especially in the early weeks of pregnancy. This has more than enough of your daily intake of DHA as other vitamins marketed towards pregnant women do NOT have enough DHA. No fishy taste or burps. Take it from me, who threw up CONSTANTLY until 12 weeks…it tastes like strawberry. (Thank god) They’re big pills but identical to other competitors. Nordic Naturals is a trustworthy and quality brand so I shell out the money because these are not cheap if following the recommended dosage. But it’s worth it. I believe you can use your “completion discount” if you’ve created an Amazon baby registry towards the end of your due date.

Product is good i regular user but delivery was not good, stays long time in heat and due to this capsules was stick to each other and not usable.

Quite expensive but it is the top-quality Omega-3 capsule available in the market. No smelly burps (unless you have a very acidic stomach). One important thing to keep in mind is that you should not keep the container in warm (in the kitchen close to stove for example) places or strong sunlight, otherwise the capsules will stick together forming a blob and separating them is quite difficult and you may prick the capsules creating a mess. If this happens keep the container in fridge for some time. This tightens up the capsules reducing the chance of pricking while separating them.
