Great gift

Packaged beautifully,each piece is made very well,I did think the board would come in one piece,but is a thick cardboard folded twice...it really is lovely though. I'm sure my son in law will love his Christmas present

It's a nice set, which I bought for my son. The figures are plastic, but they're very detailed, and really nice. The only thing I didn't like was that the board is not a proper chess board, but is made of cardboard and is more like a board for a board game, which does spoil the set. The first time we have taken it out of the box to play, we have seen that there is a tear in surface, so it will not last long - and we are very careful. For the money, I would have expected something sturdier and more 'permanent', especially as this is not clear on the description of the product. Otherwise, a set my son and I will enjoy using together until the board disintegrates or splits in half. Probably by next week.

I actually bough this in error and returned it. However I bought another one in the series. Board and pieces were excellent quality. My hubby loved it. I now have to learn to play chess which I am far less impressed with 😂

The figures come a little bent and are packaged strangely, but with some gentle pushing back the weapons will come back into shape. Lovely set, very pretty to look at!

Bought as a gift, but now comes to it, I don't feel like parting with it, its mine, I found it, it came to me!

Dad liked it. The pieces are decently made, could be slightly better but thats not a complaint.

A ver para cualquier fan está muy bien. Lo compré por eso, pero lo devolví porque le faltaba una pieza. Era para regalar y al final (aunque a la persona en cuestión le encantó) hemos cogido uno tradicional. El producto en sí está bien.

Excelente detallado, buenos materiales, pudieron agregar personajes, pero general muy buen producto.

Articolo acquistato per un regalo ad un appassionato di scacchi e de Il Signore degli Anelli: ho fatto un figurone! I pezzi sono molto ben realizzati e sono personalizzati per i bianchi (le forze del “bene”) ed i neri (gli accoliti di Sauron): anche semplicemente i pedoni sono diversi fra bianchi e neri. Le dimensioni sono anche generose e quindi non parliamo di pezzi di pochi cm con dettagli troppo piccoli da poter essere apprezzati. Discorso un po’ diverso per la scacchiera, che pur essendo sufficientemente solida è pur sempre di cartone e per di più pieghevole (in due parti): se quindi da un lato può sembrare comoda e pratica, dall’altro non è certo di solido legno!
