This passes the Yuka test and it really works! It’s thick and stays on well. We used it in the islands and felt like we didn’t have to apply it as much as other sunscreens. Will definitely be using this from now on. I do wish they had more options on spf numbers.

I am highly allergic to chemical sunscreens and was looking for a mineral non nano sunscreen for my body. I have tan skin naturally and find that this gives me very, very minimal white cast. As long as I rub it in well it’s not a problem. I like to apply dots of the product all over my skin which helps to evenly distribute it and it’s easier to rub in. I used to use Badger and this is much better. Badger gave me a really harsh white cast. You can also use this on your face but wouldn’t recommend it for everyday under makeup. It doesn’t leave the best finish (I recommend using Colorescience sunscreen for the face.) No allergic reaction for me which was a relief. If you’re concerned try doing a patch test on your arm to make sure.

This was my third summer using Babo Botanicals sunscreen on my kids. I used this on my 5 month old without hesitation. Has clean ingredients, stands up to water, sand and direct sun. Washed off easily in the shower after a day by the water. As a mother who cares deeply about what I put on or feed my kids, I feel very confident in this product and will continue to recommend to others.

Mineral based sunscreen works best for sensitive skin, no white cast blends really well on the skin.
