To cute, works well and feels like good quality

I do a lot of baking and, between cookbooks and little pieces of paper with recipes getting leaned up against something, this holder is perfect! I love that there are weights to hold the cookbook pages in place. I just use a clothespin at the top of the holder to attach recipe cards or notes. It is pretty and sturdy. I love it!

I absolutely love this bookstand. I’ve researched and read reviews for days before I settled on this one and I definitely made the right choice. It is beautiful in the kitchen. It is very rustic so if anybody doesn’t like the old rustic look, then you won’t like it. They could’ve been a little neater on the back when making it look old and rusty; but the back is against my wall and you can’t see it. But even if I move it around to a different counter, it just looks old and worn and that’s cool with me. It’s well made and holds the book at the perfect height and angle!

Durable quality

If you wash this item, you must dry if immediately and completely. I let mine air dry and came back to if fully covered in rust.. It is, however, nice and heavy and very beautiful. Very functional.

I think I like the picture more than the product I received unfortunately. The two are probably the same, but upon getting this stand in-hand, I have realized the antique 'look' is more of a rust-everywhere effect. It comes across less like a polished antique with some timely wear and more like a piece of junk. The metal feels very chalky as well. On the other hand, the stand was solid as a rock! This has a great weight to it and, once you put something on the stand, the problem of the 'rust-everywhere' becomes far less noticeable. Though the rusty effect feels very chalky, I do not find this really rubbing off and I am able to use the stand safely with both my books and tablet. In the end, I think I can make this work. It's not quiet what I expected - I was a bit disappointed, but I think I can make this work for what I intended :).
