DK Eyewitness Travel Guide: Brussels, Bruges, Ghent & Antwerp

Gave this to someone who is planning a trip. The information isn’t much more updated than the version they had from 15 years ago.

DK Eyewitness always contains great color photos of the places you want to go, as well as key information. I wish there were more cities included, such as Liege.

DK Eyewitness travel guides are the best. This 2015 Brussels + travel guide comes with their typical pull-out city map that is glossy & heavy weight. We love this added bonus. We always map out our hotel & top destinations before we leave. It is a more durable map than comes with other guides or the freebie you might get from a hotel, so this is the one you will use. DK Eyewitness travel guides have all the top sites & gorgeous pics to go with them. Shopping, entertainment, food, hotels, survival sections. I also like the "what to do if you have 1, 2, 3, or 5 days in ...." section. We get them for every major city we go to. The maps are in the city guides, not the country guides.

As with all DK books I have used, this one proved again the excellence of the travel book series. The information provided by the book allowed for a very informed visit through the city a few months ago. The information on points of interest, culture, shopping, especially museums proved very helpful in planing and taking advantage of available time. Also, the graphics were superb and played a significant role in helping to get a good sense of a site before a visit.I highly recommend this book to a prospective traveler to Brussels.

I have over 30 DK Eyewitness books. This is another good one that meets their quality standards for great photos, illustrations and relevant information.

I really like DK guides because of the beautiful photographs and the concise description of things to see and do. Brussels, Bruges and Ghent were not on our bucket list, but turned out to be one of the best trips to Europe we've ever had. We were there in November, however, and I would recommend a warmer, drier month. I usually hate to lug guide books around since I pack lightly, but the DK guides are worth lugging. They are also great for re-living the trip when we get home.

Always use the DK Eyewitness series in trip planning....so it's a no brainer to get a 'used' version as the info it contains doesn't really change. This series concentrates on what is important in a place to see, not where to eat and sleep as other guides do.This vendor's item arrived promptly, well packaged and in better than advertised condition. Can't beat the Goodwill Industries for their products is my experience, and by doing good, you do well!

Took the book on my three week vacation and read up on the places we visited before we arrivedBook was right on trip would not have been the same without having this book with me.Others on the trip would ask to look at the book.I have other books by DK Publishing and well worth the money and will buy more as my travelsdictate learning sbpit places I will travel. I would highly recommend.

Las versiones en inglés de estas guías son bastante más baratas que su traducción al castellano y contienen un mapa desplegable que no existe en la edición española.Esta guía en concreto es bastante completa en lo referente a Bruselas, pero nos pareció que faltaban algunas sugerencias para comer en Amberes. De Brujas no podemos decir nada porque no la visitamos.

I've purchased many Eyewitness Travel Guides over the years and this one is just as good as the rest. Recommended.
