Fine for now...
Being one of the cheaper wireless headsets, expectations should be low for this product. Because I have a tight budget, this is sufficient for now. I bought it to hear the TV above the din of my treadmill. I was hoping for higher volume. As it is, the volume is just audible. But since I CAN hear it, & it does achieve my objective, I'll keep it, & maybe someday, invest in a better set.Connection is tricky too. It's NOT the easy 1-2-3 that the directions suggest. Thanks to reading reviews about other cheap headsets, I figured out how to make it work. Hooking it up straight to my TV would be ideal, allowing me hear all my devices. But that does not work. I have a cable box, a TiVo box, a DVD player, & a Wii (which I use to watch Netflix.) I chose to hook the headset up to my Tivo box, which has produced the quiet sound I mentioned earlier. Even then, when I want to use it, I have to hold the transmitter in my hand to get the connection between it & the headset. Once my headset gets the signal, then I can move about the room. The key is hooking up the transmitter to the Tivo or cable box.I wish this product was better, & would hook up to my TV, but quite frankly, I'm just happy I don't have to hassle with returning it. It's sufficient for now, & would probably work better with a less complicated setup than mine.

Reasonable and Uncommon
For those of us who are used to a radio built in to our headphones these are rare , at least on Amazon, and very reasonably priced. OK cheap, I said it. One of the best features is that the're just over 20 dollars or so. There's no tuning indicator, the print is much to small in the manual, its going to eat AAA's and the headphones are at +/- 1.25x 1.50 inches very much on, rather than over the ear. However as my parents and others would agree , I have believed in and maybe ,at times, preferred a little DIY to make a thing better for me and/or mine. So another FM close for ease of tuning, glasses, rechargeable AAA's , etc. and they might even be 4 star. Did I mention the microphone, monitor and conectivity features all for $22 bucks? Hmm, I just might keep the.

Nice bang for the buck.
I ordered the Pyle Home PHPW5 and the Sentry HW702 Wireless (duo set) headphones at the same time. The Sentry was much more expensive (which did include a second headset and a power supply). But I've been using the Pyle. First off, it works.Secondly it works with my setup, which requires a mini-jack connection for the Flat TV. The Sentry set only has rca jack connectors (stupid in the year 2015). The sound volume on the Pyle is adjusted using th TV remote on my Sharp as well as the volume on the headset. When volume on the TV is low I hear more static and hiss. Also when TV is muted there is noticeable hiss. Within 15' I had no problem receiving the signal at all regardless of which way I turned my head. Your results may vary. This environment is a single family home on a 1 acre lot. Apartment dwellers and others might have more intrinsic interference. I deducted 1 star for the cheesy feel of the on/off switch and difficulty in locking it into one of its 4 positions. Also, I felt the Hiss problem should be fixed. Still a good bang for the buck.

It works, not great, but tolerable
I keep breaking corded headphones when i lie on top of them and stretch the cord. My stereo doesn't have bluetooth capabilities, so I bought this cordless headphones. At first, I was amazed that it works throughout the one floor of my house (up to 50 feet away). There are dead spots, with all of the plaster and lathe. And I don't expect it work everywhere, and I really only want it to watch TV late at night. But, after a couple weeks, I had some trouble with connection, I thought it might be batteries (amazing battery life), but even after replacing batteries, it still has a lot of static and a hum even six feet away from the transmitter. I switched back to a corded version, but I need to try it out again - I tried it for a few nights, and moving the transmitter - I'm not sure why it broke.

Not really worth it
These weren't very hard to set up and the sound wasn't bad at all. I was surprised how well FM radio sounded. I strangely got interference when my AC came on, but I just had to switch channels and it was fine. These worked well watching regular antennae TV, satellite, and blu-rays and netflix movies on my PS3. However, maybe 3 months after getting them, the band broke near the earpiece. I am very gentle with my things (I've owned regular headphones for 10+ years and they never broke) and was barely stretching it to put it over my head when it snapped. We secured it with duct tape but they didn't fit properly after that and it was very annoying.I have now owned this product for 7 months and the other side of the band snapped the other day (again, while I was putting them on). I held them on my head, but a few minutes later all I could hear was static. It may be the battery going out, but honestly I'm tired of using them. I'm very disappointed. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the sound quality was pretty good for the price.

Excellent budget wireless headphone set.
Excellent budget wireless headphone set. After reading all the reviews, I was skeptical about this product, but decided to take a chance since it's so much cheaper than the $60 ones. I'm very glad that I did. It works great for me. I use it with my PC to stream movies and play videogames. I just plug the 3.5mm standard jack plug into my PC speakers and make sure that the volume is set to about 30 percent (not too loud and not too soft). Both the emitter and the headphones uses 2 AAA batteries each. I use rechargeable batteries and they work just fine. They last about 25 hours before I need to recharge them. When you first turn it on, make sure that the source has sound coming into the emitter and then hit reset and scan (once or twice until lock on emitter) on the headphones. If you do this before the source has any sound, then you will just get static or an FM station and the headphones will not lock onto the emitter. It took me awhile to figure out how to properly tune my headphones to the emitter, but just follow my instructions and you should not have any problems. Overall, I'm really happy with these headphones and will recommend them to my friends and family.
