We've replaced numerous home buttons, and screens, successfully, so we ordered the eParts Solution Home Button as a replacement. We read the reviews like other buyers, and those considering the matter. What we did like was the fact that the home button is new, and looks like it would work very well. So we purchased two of these Home Buttons from eParts Solution. We failed trying to return the items, and just take a loss due to it is a ridiculous restocking fee. More bad news is, the two we received are simply just for looks. You might want to save your money; or you can also take a loss as we did.

I had to replace the screen on my iPhone 8. The screen replacement works great. However, this button's power connector that comes off the screen is not compatible with the replacement screen power receptacle. Which is really odd, because the original OEM button is compatible with the replacement screen. This button is not.

The button was to replace the home button on an iPhone 8 as advertised. I know it won’t restore fingerprint recognition, but it didn’t work at all ended up taking it to a shop and having it replaced by them. I have installed several home buttons on different iPhones, so I have to assume it just was a dud.

Home button did not work properly. At times iIt would not respond to touch. Eventually it stopped responding.
