Yes, I prefer to purchase food for my bulk for my parrots and this suits me just right. I know it seems like it has a large price point but when you do the math it is just the perfect price. the food quality is great it was recommended to me by a professional in the Avian world. It has what i consider a normal smell for pellets. the appearance in the basic but sturdy the bag is of very good quality and makes sure that the product does not spill in shipping. I'm really not buying this large quantity for the looks but for the value. All my birds have a very diverse diet and this is certainly a good product that they have every day along side their fresh foods, fruits, flowers, teas, etc.

It is a little expensive but it’s hard to find good food that is also good for your bird so I’m not complaining especially considering that the 4 pound bag last me 4 months. It does smell funny but it’s animal food sooo. At first I thought the pellets may be too big for my budgie because he wasn’t eating it only pecking at it but after a couple weeks of wetting the pellets and slowly letting them dry over the next few weeks he got to where he is comfortable breaking them up completely dry. He came off a hard millet based seed diet when I got him from the pet store so it was hard getting him to eat this new food but now it’s all he eats and I also love the Tops bird seed and so does he. I love how there’s no color to the pellets and that they’re cold pressed rather than baked. I sleep much better at night knowing my budgie is eating healthy.

My birds are doing great with this added to their long extensive list of all natural and organic whenever possible. You absolutely must switch if you are feeding any other pellet. This is hands-down, the absolute best pellet on the market right now. If you choose to feed pellets, big sure you feed this one all the other ones on the market are not even comparable

I bought these pellets for my bird as part of a transition to a healthier diet. She’s still getting used to them since she was very accustomed to eating seeds, but the quality of this food is excellent. The pellets are a great size for small birds, smell fresh, and are made with organic, non-GMO ingredients, which was very important to me. I also appreciate that there are no artificial colors or additives. Even though she’s still adjusting, I feel confident offering this as part of a balanced diet and will continue introducing it gradually.

Both my birds were very picky eaters when it came to pellets. I tried so many different brands,they wouldn't touch any. Then i found Tops mini pellets and thought i'd give it one more try. It worked!! After a slow and careful convertion, they are now happy eaters of these pellets!! I'm very happy, and so are my birds.

My parakeets are avid avoided of A YTHING in pellet form BUT they ate every last one!!! So, I'm very pleased with this product!

I believe the quality of the item itself is good (smells "healthy" - like dried vegetables and herbs, and the list of ingredients is great). I love that it doesn't contain any artificial coloring that was the selling point to me for this product. Unfortunately, the pellets are too large for budgies (they are not mini at all) and it's practically impossible to grind them to smaller pieces on your own (they would get powdered too easily). My parakeets will not eat them. I would definitely purchase them again if they were in the size proper for small birds (like in the attached picture comparing the pellets of the other brand that's size is perfect, but the product has artificial coloring in it that is bad for the birds).

I really wanted to love TOP’s Mini Pellets—the ingredients are fantastic (USDA organic, corn/soy/peanut-free) and my cockatiels go nuts for the taste. The problem is the shape: these “mini” pellets are long (¼" or longer). My birds grab one end and 50–70 % sails straight to the cage floor (or the room floor… or my face). I honestly don’t know how parakeets are supposed to eat them without turning them into toys. Other brands (Harrison’s Fine, Roudybush Small, Lafeber’s) solved this years ago by simply making short pellets that stay in the beak. TOP’s could fix this overnight and have a near-perfect product—just cut the Mini pellets shorter. Until then, the waste is frustrating and one bag disappears way too fast. I have to supplement heavily with fresh veggies and seeds to make sure my birds aren’t going hungry.

4月生まれのセキセイです。ここ数日でパクパク良く食べるようになりました！他のペレットは食べ方が下手なのか喉に張り付く感じになるのですがこちらはとてもスムーズに食べれます。結構大きめですがホロホロと崩れやすくエサ箱底にたまる粉も食べています。牧草の様な抹茶の様な強めな匂いもいやな匂いではなくオーガニック！という感じです。やっぱり好きなシードと今は半々あげています。

パッケージの写真とも違う、長めのもの。燕麦と似た大きさだから、セキセイインコでも食べられなくないと思いますが、燕麦よりは硬いし好みがあるかもしれないです。細かく砕いて入れ始めて数日、美味しさに気付いた子は、喜んで食べています。いける子はそのままで食べています。個体差あるかもしれません。セキセイにはもう少し小さい方が食べやすいから、細かくしてあげる方が良いと思います。ちょっとの大きさの差ですがアキクサインコは、そのまま食べています。でも食べにくいのか、落としながらもくわえていますよ笑。嘴がピカピカとか羽ツヤとか、レビューを拝見し、効果を期待しています。私も食べてみましたが、イグサ！って感じでした笑。良い香です。香が飛ばないように、小分け密閉した方が良いかなあと考えています。

うちのウロコインコが気に入ってとっても良く食べます。
