Love these books my toddler son adores this series

My son’s speech therapist had this line of books in her office. He’s 2.5 and absolutely loves this one and the cars book. When I got it, I didn’t realize the pictures match his tool set by Learning Resources! They’re almost exactly the same tools and colors. He has so much fun matching the tools to each page. We’re working on action words and other sounds. His therapist recommended making up my own story and evolving it based on his needs. It’s helping a lot! He just started saying “tap tap” and “hammer” thanks to this book! Highly recommend it for toddlers who love tools. Hope this helps! ☺️

I had this book for all my grandkids when they were little. I ended up giving it to one of the youngest ones. I loved it because while reading it, all of the kids would mimic the sounds that the tools made and it was an easy read! Since then I now order this book for all new moms who request a book for their collection and it brings back wonderful memories!

This is my son's favorite book. He loves making all the different sounds of the tools. It's perfect for keeping his attention and the illustrations are bright and colorful. I also don't get totally annoyed having to read it every night which is a major bonus in my book.

I bought this for my two year old grandson who loves tools. He loves this book….wanted me to read it to him over and over. The pictures are nicely done and the wording is simple and easy for a two year old to understand.

I purchased this book to complete the set of three by Emma Garcia for my 2 year old son for Easter. I've been able to instill a love of reading (being read to) by finding books in his wheelhouse (trucks, cars, trains, etc.). I've really enjoyed these books because it's easy to have a dialogue with him beyond the words on the page. The illustrations allow us to explore colors, sounds, and shapes outside of the storyline. This book is no different the other two. In this story, we are building something that won't be revealed until the last page. All the tools make a sound. We start with the hammer. "With the hammer, we go tap, tap, tap." "With the saw, we go cree craw, cree craw." Children learn about the most obvious of tools, but also tools not in your traditional play toolbox like a level, a grip vise, and a mallet. At the end, like in all the books, there's a review. Here, it is the of all sounds of the tools. Once you've reviewed, the big reveal of what you "made" is on the last page. Depending on my son's patience, I can drag out the story by asking him what sound did the hammer just make, what color is the grip vise, or can you point to the nails. Overall, this is a favorite in my household of both mom and kid alike. My son likes it because it involves all things that go boom, crash, bang. I like it because it has been great in vocabulary building and knowledge overall.

A really cute book to teach toddlers sounds that go with lots of different tools. I gave it as a gift along with a toddler toolbox and tools. Think both parents and the toddler will like it.

This is my 3-yr-old grandson's favorite book! He constantly checks it out of the library. He'll be surprised on his birthday to get his own copy. The story is cute, colors are vibrant, and it's a sturdy board book.

My son is going to be 2 next month and he has loved this book since he was 1 year and a 1/2. We borrowed it from library but then he liked it so much we decided to buy it. He knows all the tools in this book now. We read it over and over.

bought this for my 1 yr old nephew along with a little wooden tool kit by Melissa and Doug...he absolutely loved both and the book helped him to figure out to do with the tool kit he got as well!
