I got these for my big dogs that drip water all over the place from their bowl. It covers a pretty large area which is helpful. It seems to really be water proof, but the material is very very thin, almost like a sheet, so the cold water pooling around their bowl still makes a little moisture condense underneath the mat (it does NOT seem to be seeping through the mat though) so I placed some plastic below the mat right under their water bowl to protect my wood floors. It would probably get a full 5 stars if I were using it for smaller spills

Awesome mat!

We used this under our guinea pig cage because they were always making a mess. It was very easy to clean and easy to use. Great quality that was easy to store when we weren’t using it.

I put this in my pets' feeding area. It's waterproof as advertised and is great for containing messes.
