Better Boat Super Absorbent Synthetic Smooth Boat Cooling Towel Shammy for Car Drying, Marine Grade, Turquoise

I bought this for the shower which I try to dry every day. I've been drying it nearly every day after a shower since it was installed a few years ago and haven't had to do any other cleaning. It has quartz walls with a tile floor. Prior to getting this chamois, I used a squeegee and microfiber cloths. I still use the squeegee on some parts, particularly on the walls as they are too tall to reach with the towel. The chamois absorbs water better than microfiber cloths but the microfiber is better at getting into edges and corners and tight spaces. I use a microfiber cloth to dry the soap and shampoo shelf, and wipe the handles and shower head. Using a chamois is a little different from using a towel. You can kind of whip it around and it will suck up any water it reaches. It holds quite a bit. If I'm not using the squeegee and microfiber cloth, I'll have to wring it out twice, but in conjunction with the others it only takes one go to get rid of all the remaining moisture. When I first got it, I cut my hands a few times on the edge of the container when putting the chamois back inside. That hasn't happened lately. If you wring it out sufficiently it is fairly easy to put it away. After a few weeks of use, you can throw it in the washer. It washes fine. Once I forgot and put in the dryer, which you aren't supposed to do. I just wet it again and it was fine.
