Why did you pick this product vs others?: Been looking for a quality canteen that doesn't leech odd tastes into the water like stainless steel or plastic ones do. Holds an ideal amount of water for me 1.5 LT and the caps have very well fitting threads to screw together smoothly creating watertight seals. Easy to clean. Only drawback is that it has no thermo lining so the water will be whatever the temperature around it is.

Talk about a great water bottle! First off, it's big and chunky like Cold War Soviet hardware which makes it very durable so it travels well. It has a wide opening and not some sissy she-man sippy nipple. No Dude, you manually control the velocity of the flow rate by adjusting angler tilt of the bottle. Don't worry if you don't get it at first and spill some on yourself, just act you meant to do that and then spit some in the air to show your victory over all things in nature. Sippy nipple "men" will turn away in fear for they know a new testosterone fueled alpha is in the house. Plus, look at that name...yeah..now say it; "Sigg" say it again like you've got a pair; SIGG!! Yeah...Alright... kinda sounds like another alpha male from THE Man show of all time; Top Gear's "The Stig" (not the stupid wanna be US version but the ONLY version; BBC) Rumor has it that Switzerland is releasing a stamp with The Stig drinking from a Sigg shooting a Sig. Wanna be part of that club? Yeah ya do!

One of the worst water bottles I've ever owned. Despite a thorough hand wash, water that comes out of this bottle tastes metallic. The rubber o-ring around the neck of the bottle, at the base of the threading, just straight up fell off after a few weeks and without it, the seal of the cap is not good, meaning this bottle leaked everywhere. Also the cap itself was difficult to screw on straight, and often times I would spend extra time trying to line up the cap and really ensure that it went on correctly. The paint started chipping off really quickly. The bottle definitely is simple in design - there are no frills or extra features, but at this price point you might as well spend an extra $10-20 and get an Owala or something else that has extra features and has a much better design.

These bottles are not cheap, but worth every dollar. Top quality and thick side walls. Unlike many other brands, has option of narrow neck or wide neck for easy cleaning or for adding ice cubs. Top quality shock resistant polyethene cap material. Not junky platic that can crack when dropped on a hard surface. Gaskets are top quailty stable Polyethalene distortion and split resistant no leak type. Not cheap junky old rubber type gaskets comonly seen on other brands. Conclusion. If you want long life tough leak proof bottles get these and forget the rest, or waste your money and get wet with an inferior brand.

It's light but big, easy to drink from, and looks like it has superior quality but it is early to come to that conclusion because 1-2 weeks of use are not enough. Make sure to close it properly, otherwise all your compartment will get wet. Moreover, you can only put cold, room-temperature, or sparkling water in this bottle; otherwise, it may damage the coating and cause aluminum to leak.

Very durable.

This is the third water bottle I've owned of this type. I use it everywhere. It's perfect for work where I need a closed container for my water; for backpacking; for the gym; and for the sauna. I also use the additional nipple lid so I don't have to unscrew the cap to drink. I'm glad this product is available again. Because of it being aluminum, it is subject to the paint flaking easily and for the acquiring dents. Still, I would consider it a very durable product and buy more in the future.

It a a pretty bottle, and appears to be durable however, it leaks a lot of condensation and does not keep water cold for more than 5 hours
