Waterproofness and thermal management are at the forefront of our vision, equipping the wearer with maximum protection against the elements. The Briston is a subtle reimagining of the Raynham – a Sealskinz classic. Review: Sealskinz Waterproof Socks: A Rainy Day Savior - With an amusement park trip looming and a massive storm in the forecast, we needed a reliable way to keep our son's feet dry. Changing our plans wasn't an option, so we had to prepare for the rain as best as possible. After researching online, I found that many hikers and trail runners either waterproof their shoes completely or use waterproof socks with well-draining shoes. Waterproof shoes seemed either too expensive or too uncomfortable for a day of walking, so we decided to try Sealskinz waterproof socks based on their high recommendations. These socks paired with my son's regular sneakers which had good drainage were a perfect solution. We spent about 12 hours walking through heavy rain and numerous puddles at the amusement park. By the end of the day, my son's feet were completely dry, which was impressive given the conditions. The Sealskinz socks are comfortable, fit well, and didn’t cause any blisters or discomfort, even after a full day of use. There was no moisture buildup inside the socks, and they provided excellent waterproofing without compromising breathability. The socks were easy to put on and didn’t feel bulky inside his shoes. They also provided an extra layer of warmth, which was a bonus on a chilly, rainy day. My son was able to enjoy all the rides and activities without worrying about wet feet or discomfort. These socks were lightweight and flexible, making them ideal for an active day at the park. Sealskinz waterproof socks exceeded our expectations, keeping my son's feet dry and comfortable during a stormy day at the amusement park. They are a highly recommended, cost-effective alternative to waterproof shoes, especially for long days of walking in wet conditions. If you're planning any wet-weather adventures, these socks are a must-have. If only they made full-body waterproof suits for those kinds of days! Review: Good - Fire

Keeps my feet cosy, dry, and comfortable
Multiple stream crossings on hikes, no problem! Surf fishing with shoes on rocks and in the sand, No Problem! (It kept the sand in the shoe from irritating my feet). I will be trying them in The Narrow soon and expect them to work just fine. So far so good. Durable, Quality socks.

Good but limitations
I wore these for a 2 day rainy cycling trip and they are indeed waterproof. Day one they performed admirably(with full leg cycling bib that covered the sock top) until my feet were completely submerged in flood water. I don't think there's anything that will stop that. On day 2, I wore these with biking shorts so had bare leg exposed above the sock. That was a real pitfall as the hydrostop did not stop all water. At 10 miles in there was water pooled inside the sock over my ankle which made for an uncomfortable ride. I ended up dumping the socks out and switching to regular socks for the rest of the ride so that water wouldn't pool up. I would not recommend wearing these socks without some type of pant or fabric to reduce or eliminate the amount of water that makes it through the hydrostop.

Amazing waterproof product
The Seal Skinz that I purchased, both all weather AND ones for extreme cold, is 100% the real deal. They really DO keep your feet warm and dry, regardless of how much water you cross over. These with waterproof hiking boots is a game changer - making those trips comfortable and successful. Water never got into the boots let alone the Skinz. It's a 'must have' when out there hiking.

Size Chart is Wrong
From what I can tell, the sizes are actually unisex and not's women's. Either that or they run large or I was sent the wrong pair. I'm sure they work well if you have the right size

They work!
Hiked 14 miles in the rain on an already saturated, muddy trail. My shoes were wet, and the outer layer of the sealskinz was clearly wet, but my feet and my socks that I wore under my sealskinz were completely dry! Definitely impressed!

Can’t live without these
Use them for rowing and they keep my feet dry. They’re not cheap but they’re worth the spend

No hay calcetines impermeables como los de esta marca. De todos modos antes los hacían mejores, han bajado un poco de categoría pero siguen sin tener igual.

Finally got out with these. Was skeptical but now I'll be getting a second pair at dinner point!! Was worried about the comfort and water resistance. They're great!

Excellent product, great hiking option when your boots may not be fully dry.

Two absolutely sodden bike rides in these and my feet were comfortable and toasty. One ride my feet were completely dry. Today’s ride my feet were slightly damp, but still lovely and warm. Think it was more sweat than the torrent of rain. I went through a huge puddle and everything got soaked through, but my feet were still fine. Love ‘em!

When I bought it, there was already a hole in the sole. Not waterproof from the start... Bad experience.
