Sturdy well made product works great!
I bought this stun cane 8 1/2 years ago and 4 years later I bought another one just in case because I never want to be without it but I'm happy to say I am still using the original cane. I have been using this cane daily when walking my dog for the 8 1/2 years. I have never had to strike an animal with the cane the noise of it being activated has been enough of a deterrent for the attacking dogs to run away. Fantastic sturdy product. I have actually charged it overnight several times by accident and it has not interfered with its performance. I don't know why anyone would have anything negative to say about this stun cane it gives me peace of mind everyday while I'm walking my tiny dog.

It’s a good product, but be cautious with it,
This is a great product and it’s handy to have when you’re out hiking of back in the woods never have I used it, but just by clicking the button and the popping sound that it makes it will deter dogs, including wild dogs that you may may run across on the trail, but probably the most important thing that this is a extremely dangerous device and is not a toy I don’t recommend it for for kids

Protection and Stability in one.
I already had one and my mother loved it. So I purchased one for her as a Christmas gift. It works wonders when walking dogs and if you're elderly and have gate issues it supports you and protects against predators.

Best of the best
I was surprisingly please with this purchase. It is set up in such a way that you won't accidentally hurt yourself, but woe be unto the attacker that gets a taste of what it has to offer. It is beautifully sturdy and the adjustability allows me to walk with a nice straight posture with support which helps build my stamina as my spouse is in a long term care facility, so I walk and do yoga to help with my stamina as I have a bad back and peripheral neuropathy and must single handedly maintain a bi-level home, inside and out. So as canes go, I've tried others, but this one is so comfortable and safe. The walking path I use, I use at night so it helps me feel safe as I walk through a partially wooded area. I'm so glad I found it.......I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would buy all over again should something happen to this one. A great deal just for peace of mind and quality.

"Shockingly" great self-defense cane!
A little robust but overall, it's nice and sturdy, especially for a big guy like me pushing 300 pounds. The 2-stage safety feels like it's in a quick access yet secure place so I'm not accidentally arming the cane. I love the range of the stun rod and the added flashlight feature which has already helped me on a couple of occasions. My Only gripe with this is that the charging port is also a point of shock if your pinky happens to be touching it when it is zapping, which can be rather uncomfortable and "shocking" to say the least lol. If the manufacture were to add a small rubber charging port cap it would easily solve that issue. Other than that, it's a solid buy I feel if your looking for that added non-leathal first line of defense

It’s a cane you can use and a stun gun for angry dogs.
Great at deterring aggressive dogs. I don’t know why people don’t chain up their dangerous pets, but this cane has a loud noise that scares them away.

Expensive cane with built-in flashlight
Have owned this cane for 10 months now. I bought it for a few reasons. One, I have to walk with a cane always. Two, I do walk the neighborhood, and the idea of having some protection in a stun cane gave me some peace of mind. The cane comes with an AC power charger you use to charge the cane, carrying case and instructions. The cane itself is metal and built well. Adjustable for different heights. Compared to other canes, may feel a bit heavy to some. But for me, the weight felt pretty good and didn't take long at all to adjust to it. I immediately started walking with it every day. Of course, I HAD to test everything out after I first charged it. There's a small red light on one end of the handle, that lights up when the charger is plugged into it. It has a three-way switch on the handle for "OFF/Flashlight/Stun Activate. I was impressed with the brightness of the tiny flashlight, built into the end of the handle. And I've found it to come in handy on more than one occasion. The stun feature, activated by pressing a small button on the handle, is very loud with an electric, lightning-type arc across the metal prong-like cage, wrapping around the entire bottom of the cane. I would never use it on a dog or animal unless I was facing actual danger. But, the noise and spark alone is enough to scare off any animal...and an older sister! Like with all canes, they get some wear and tear, they get dropped and fall over. But, in the 10 months I've had it, I've taken very good care of it and have maintained it well. Have always kept it charged, but have never left it plugged in too long, as you don't want to force electric current on it when it doesn't need it. I'd turn it on and test the stun mechanism from time to time, just to make sure everything was still working well. Several weeks ago, I noticed the red light wouldn't come on when I'd plug in the charger. And noticed that the cane would not charge to full capacity, by the lack of performance of the stun feature. Being an electrician, I took the handle apart to inspect the electronics. Needless to say, I was a bit saddened but not surprised, in how cheaply the electronics are assembled in this cane. And can understand why it wouldn't last nearly as long as I had hoped and expected. Remember, I bought this can for the stun feature. That's why everyone is purchasing this cane. For the price, you would expect the life of the cane and all electronics to last at least a good while. Instead, I bought a cane similar to others that run about $20. So, I paid $80 for a feature that lasted less than 10 months. And the way it's advertised, you feel like you're getting a cane with the durability and stun feature that will last you awhile. So, do I feel this is a good purchase or one I can recommend to others? NO, I do not. Not for the cost. If the cane had been half as much in price, I could say I got $50 worth of use out of it, without feeling too bad or cheated when it stopped working. So, before you purchase this item...stop and think how much you really need it. You may be better off just buying a much cheaper, hand-held stun gun that you can carry around with you. I'm almost sure it would last longer than this cane. And there are far more hand-held stun units out there than stun canes. No, nothing lasts forever. Everything wears out or breaks down after time. But, you wouldn't expect a $100 piece of medical/safety equipment to break down so quickly. Think twice and look at more options before you hand over your money for this item. I won't make that mistake again. I hope this helps.

Great protection for anyone and stylish at the same time
This is one of the best buys I have made. This walking cane has electroids on the end. Looking at it, most everyone thinks it's a design. Pushing the bottom, it makes a loud scarey noise and blue flashes come off the electroids. The sound is loud enough to scare away animals. I bought this due to packs of dogs in my neighborhood. But, I also use it as a cane going through stores and walking. I don't need a cane but this is the greatest way to protect yourself. The handle has an on and off switch. You can easily turn it on without anyone noticing you doing that. The bottom is on the bottom of the handle and you simply push it. It's very well made and stylish. I have it six months and it's been perfect.
