Used this on a European trip since the weather was unpredictable with wind & rain. It was perfect! Wore it under a black coat. Looked like a scarf, kept my neck warm, and I could put it up as needed. A good purchase!

Comes as described, soft and keeps you warm! The fit is nice as well the strings pull the closing tighter but it does look a little odd when they’re pulled too tight. Doesn’t cover nose, can cover mouth but does look a little silly. Overall a good purchase! Perfect for coats that don’t have a hood!

I had a balaclava couple years ago but I didn’t like the quality at all. Since I found this one on Amazon I was planing to order. I have been wearing it since I got it. It is soft but thick, holds the shape, protects skin from cold wind. I wore it at very cold temperatures(-8 C) and it was totally fine. Maybe not the warmest during that much cold weather but still kept me warm. Well made! I wish I knew the percentage of the materials but it feels like wool.

The item looks well made and it's pretty. I wish the material wasn't so itchy and the fit a bit loser.

I bought this because I was having a neck surgery and had to leave the hospital with a drain and just wanted something to cover up the spectacle as gently and easily as I could - paired this with a matching color bathrobe and it worked out perfectly. It was very soft and gentle and roomy enough in the neck area for what I needed. I have since passed it along to a friend of mine who is getting chemo and her head gets cold at night but not the rest of her - she had some other kind of hoods she was using that were tighter in the neck but she really likes this one because it’s not as tight around the neck - easier to get in and out of. Very comfortable. Also not TOO too warm.
