A most delicious green tea - real green tea flavor w/ a true brew cup experience. Some discount green teas are flimsy in flavor - therefore flimsy in the benefits of green tea. This NUMI is not flimsy. You get a real green tea flavor with each cup. I actually use my teabag twice! I know this is a sin to some purists - but it works for me. I've used this brand for years - reliable quality and nicely packaged. I but this in bulk packages because I try to drink at least one cup -a day. Better is three - for health benefits. And actually have switched away from coffee to this green tea; it has what is labeled as 'medium caffeine' making it energizing but not 'hair on fire' caffeine content. I recommend this product

I really like these teas because they are organic and have tried alot of their other flavors which I liked. The price is good too.The reason for 3 stars is because they didn't come in a box of 50 or 100 or whatever like my last order. They came in one big box and the individual tea bags looked like they just dumped some in.

I’ve fallen for the hype of other tea brands. I read a review of many tea brands and NUMI is definitely safer than others. It’s delicious as well.

Love the tea, but I received a cardboard type shipping box just filled with the tea. It looked like the tea bags were just thrown in the box. Not impressed with over $30.00 of tea.

Healthier than coffee

I have been drinking green tea for years. However, our local store does not carry the Numi Gunpowder Green Tea so I had to go on-line to purchase it. I like this brand because it is a carbon neutral company as it states on the back of the box by choosing Numi you are helping people with " access to education, clean water" and decent wages.. The tea is also organic compared to some tea brands that don't state it on the box so you have no way of knowing for sure. There are 18 individual bags of tea per box. Green tea can be smooth tasting although the longer it is brewed the stronger tasting it gets. It can range from light and mild to stronger tasting depending on length of brewing or the specific type and grade of tea. It can be a healthful alternative to coffee and although it does contain some caffeine it is less than coffee. I drink my green tea plain but you could add a little honey, agave or stevia. Green tea has a high level of anti-oxidants that can provide some anti-inflammatory benefits--although, this might depend on the individual and how well of a good diet, exercise and regular health check-up habits are followed. So, not only can I enjoy a calming drink but one with some health benefits as well. I hope at least some of this is helpful. Oh, my husband who is primarily a coffee drinker even drinks the Green Tea occasionally.
