Adds flavour
Recieved my order in good condition well packaged in bubble wrap, colour is a deep rich brown, consistency is a light sauce, added to my cooking and it has boosted the flavour. This is the first time I have tried this brand so I can't compare with another but seems like good cooking wine.

Chinese cooking wine
This cooking wine is an essential ingredient for authentic cooking of many chinese recipes, and although things like sherry can be substituted, the flavour isn't quite right from those substitutes. This one is delicious! Arrived safely although a glass bottle. I'd definitely buy again!

Authentic ingredient for successful Chinese meals and great value as a twin-pack
While this stuff may well smell like sherry it's flavour definitely leans more toward the savoury end of the scale tasting more like a mix of sherry and soy sauce. As such it's perfect for its intended use in Chinese cooking. The fact that it comes in this great value twin-pack is just a bonus. I don't do any Chinese cooking now without this as along with other authentic ingredients it really does help you to rustle up meals that taste like they just came out of a Chinese restaurant, and a good one at that! Good value and goes a long way if used correctly - recommended for all your Chinese cooking needs.

A must for chow mein
Bought this on recommendation of a YouTuber or tiktoker and now wouldn’t be without. Gives a fabulous authentic flavour to my chow mein (again, same recommender) and anywhere I want to add depth and wine flavour without being overwhelming. One of my favourite kitchen cupboard staples, so much that I’m on my second bottle already.
