I really like this pedal
This little guy is nothing short of amazing. For years, I used a multi-fx unit to make it easy to switch between acoustic and electric guitars. The trade-off is that neither sounds as good as it could. Now I play almost all acoustic, though, so I wanted to simplify and optimize my stage rig for the best possible acoustic tone. Chain is now a Boss TU-3 tuner >>> BodyRez >>> Keeley Vibe-O-Verb (for fingerstyle stuff). The BodyRez AC adapter powers it all. My main performance guitars have Fishman Matrix Infinity pickups, which are reliable and feedback resistant but prone to the dreaded "piezo honk." The BodyRez does a great job of mitigating that, and generally gives me a more natural-sounding tone through the PA. It's noticeably fuller and crisper, with more punch on the low end. I also feel like I have more dynamic range. We don't have a drummer, so my rhythm playing has to fill that role as well. With the BodyRez in my chain, I can get more snap on palm muted riffs, and full-on open-chord strumming sounds rich and full. To get a feel for how to set the level control, I recorded the same rhythm riff back to back eight times: dry, and with the knob at seven different positions. Then I played them back, picked the one I liked best, and set the knob to that. I haven't touched it since. We use in-ear monitors. A nice side benefit is that my guitar sounds better to me in the IEMs with the BodyRez vs my old rig. You're still better off with a good condenser mic for recording. But for on stage through a PA or full-range amp, BodyRez is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Get this pedal
I am a gigging musician in an indie rock band, and I alternate between my Telecaster and my Takamine electric-acoustic guitar, played through my electric guitar tube amp. I play acoustic guitar through the same pedal-board that I use for my electric guitar. So for this setup, I have had a nightmare of feedback problems in the past. I’ve tried to solve the feedback problem in many ways, including using an equalizer pedal, and a soundhole cover for the guitar (check out Lute Hole brand, they’re awesome.) But my feedback problem was never quite licked until I got my Body Rez pedal; and played it at a show last night. There was no feedback because of the phase inversion mode (green/red light mode.) That is the primary reason I sought and bought the pedal. However, the little magic knob on the pedal makes your acoustic guitar sound truly excellent. It seems to me that turning it all the way up brings in a deeply rich low-end bass that isn’t prone to feedback, because of the phase inversion. I found the sweet spot right about 12 o’clock, in combination with my equalizer pedal and everything else I have my sound running through, and my acoustic guitar sounds exactly how I want it to sound. For live performances, this pedal is amazing. This pedal has allowed me to get my acoustic sound up to the standard and functionality that I’ve been seeking and needing for a long time. Really, really nice pedal. I assure you that you won’t regret buying this pedal.

Should have external switch for phase
This should have an external phase switch that doesn't require you to unplug and plug it back in. Simple design and purpose. Very slight improvement in sound of acoustic guitar.

Couldn't ask for more
I hesitated for many months before buying this pedal. Although I read all the favorable reviews, when I watched reviews online where people actually played their guitars through the pedal I really couldn't hear much difference - maybe due to small computer speakers? - I don't know. I initially bought an equalizer pedal to fill out the gaps on my amp's equalizer. This did improve the sound a fair amount. Finally, the reviews won out and after confirming that I could return the pedal if I didn't like it, I went ahead and bought it. Believe me: trust all of the excellent reviews! I have a *very* inexpensive guitar that I use for playing regular gigs with a trio. The pedal makes this guitar sound far better than my bandmates' guitars that cost 15 times as much! I also have a fine Taylor guitar with the ES2 system that I use for solo gigs. It rounds out the Taylor's sound beautifully as well. I no longer use the equalizer pedal. I could not be happier or more impressed with what this pedal does for my sound. If you have a guitar with a piezo pickup, I can't imagine you being less than pleased with this device. It's well worth trying, and like me, you'll probably decide never to play without it again!

Hard to tell the benefit.
I could not hear much of a difference in sound...maybe a little nicer??? I have a very good acoustic amplifier that has feedback suppression dialable, like this pedal, so that is not as value add as it may be for someone using an amp without feedback band suppression. The pedal is metal, well made, looks like quality materials. Kind of wish it had, "Input", and "Output", labels on the jacks...makes you wonder if you are connecting the right things... I will be returning it due to it not producing enough of a difference in my setup...Your mileage may vary...

Buy this pedal
Anyone that plays an acoustic electric through a PA system needs this pedal. I’ve tried all kinds of combinations trying to get the amplified sound to match my 20 year old takamine’s acoustic sound. This pedal comes closer than anything else I’ve tried
