Loved this book about a young woman with some insecurities about her body, and the man who teaches her to love herself, like he loves her. Bax is the son of a wealthy man, a man trying to get the secret cookie recipes of Annie/Babycakes. The minute that Bax sees Annie he feels completely attracted to her. He decides that he won’t attempt to get her recipe, in fact, he will help protect her secret recipe. Annie/Babycakes, is a young woman that owns a cookie bakery, and she has won some acclaim for her cookies. Several companies have attempted to purchase the recipe, but she refuses to sell. When she meets Bax, she feels an immediate attraction to him, but her insecurities hold her back. Bax is persistent in his attempts to get Annie to fall in love with him, and eventually succeeds. A problem occurs when Bax’s dad shows up, but the couples love overcomes the bad situation. The epilogues are beautifully written, and the couple obtain their HEA. I am loving these instalove, concise books, and recommend these books written by Megan Wade, as a quick romantic read.

Cookie, by Megan Wade is such a sweet story. Pun intended. The blurb for this one drew me in more than anything. Just something about the beautifully descriptive tale of these yummy cookies, and the "We don't so sandwiches." I actually laughed out loud, which drew my husband's attention..I let him read it, and he had a bit of a chuckle, too. I'm really enjoying the Sweet Curves series right now. If you're looking for a slightly OTT Instalove short story, give this series a try.

What starts out as the pursuit to charm, what he thinks is an old lady with cookie recipes ends up becoming the love of insta-love of his life. Annie has a cookie business that she takes very seriously. No matter who has come, she’s turned down all of the commercial baking and cookie companies choosing to keep her recipes secret and individual. In comes Baxter determined to win her over and get her to sign over her recipes. He doesn’t anticipate falling in lust or love with her and standing up for her against his father and the family business. While predictable, since I’d already committed to reading the others because I loved the first two stories in this series so much, I kept reading. I still don’t get why virginity sees to be the big draw of these professional BBW women, I suppose it works for these stories.

This book made be scream, swoon, and text my boyfriend for some heads up that tonight is gonna be fun. Megan Wade is an amazing writer of BBW but this one really just blew it right out of the park! I love novellas full of detail, love for the characters, and spiciness like no one’s business and she always delivers- this one being an Insta-Love and just a small mention of an age gap. The HEA made me melt and I’m just on such a high with this book that I’m going to make sure to re-read it every single year around New Years with the theme in place. 10 outta 5 stars- and I think this might already be my book of the year. (I purchased this book, did not receive for free)

Annie has been offered a lot of money by many companies for her cookie recipe. Baxter has been sent to convince her to sell to his family's company. Once he sees her, he refuses to do that. He vows to himself to protect her and her recipes from everyone. Both are instantly smitten with the other. She needs to get cookies ready for New Year's Eve in the village square. He helps but then his father shows. Will Annie accept Baxter's explanation? Will she sell out? I liked Annie. She was fun and cheerful. Baxter was a good guy who fell instantly for Annie. His father was a jerk. I loved that Baxter was the inspiration for a new cookie for her. I liked the alternating points-of-view. I really enjoyed epilogues from each of them. I look forward t more of this series.

I loved it. It was sweet, passionate, and funny. Makes me wonder where I could find myself a Baxter. Would have loved to know what happened to Baxter’s dad though.

Annie and Baxter is a love at first site romance. Baxter has come after her cookie recipe thinking she is just a little old lady. When he first sees her, he decides she is his forever. This is insta-love, hot, steaming quick read. Part of a series that is a complete standalone. A must read.

This book ha the right about if smut, angst and storyline. I like how the characters cake together and how it was a love at first sight kind of deal

I absolutely love this novella. When Baxter walks into Annie's cookie shop, he's instantly aroused by her backside and groans. Annie hears him and when she turns around she can't believe her eyes. This gorgeous hunk of a man is looking at her. It's instalove, sexy scenes and an HEA. I highly recommend this book.

These are such fun little reads. Annie Braithwaite makes the greatest cookies in the world and has the award to prove it. After inheriting her bakery from her grandmother she’s happy working in and creating her special cookies but with the fame has come the sharks, everyone wants her cookie recipe but she’s determined not to sell out. So when Bax arrives in her little shop and sweeps her off her feet she believes she has her happy ever after but how will she feel once she learns his true secret? Baxter Hollis is in town to convince the elderly Annie Braithwaite to sell him her secret cookie recipe, no one is more shocked when he learns the buxom young beauty behind the counter is the woman he is there to see. He wants her from the moment he walked in and saw her bent over and when he learns why she’ll never sell her recipe he knows he’ll do anything he can to keep it that way, but once his true identity comes out will she believe he only wants her love? Can’t go wrong with these books they are safe, cute with a little steam. Good epilogues too. 3.5🌟

This short story was well written and a quick read. Everything that was outlined about the story Ms. Wade brought to this tale. This was a lovely fairytale-type of short story. Very sweet insta-love romance, with a happily-ever-after, of course.
