KeySmart NanoScissors - Mini Portable Foldable Keychain Scissors

I work in an elementary school as a noon aide. Part of my job is supervising kids in lunchroom. Can't count the number of things I am asked to open. I used to carry a small Victorinox pocket knife with scissors on my ID lanyard but in today's society a pocketknife is a HUGE no-go. I tried numerous folding scissors ... hard to open, didn't cut, hard to fold ... etc etc. These are PERFECT. Small, compact, work great, don't look like a pocketknife ... As an added bonus I am a crafter and they pass TSA Restrictions.

It's very stiff, so stiff that the first time I opened it my finger slipped and I almost cut myself. Other than that I like it. Will I keep it? Not sure.

Appreciate the idea of muli-tool capability on smart key system. Tools added include box cutter with small phillips head and flash drive. Matches my army knife now but micro scale. Good strong durable materials.

These are an awful lot like the scissors you find in a Swiss Army Knife. They're very sharp, and they're capable of smooth, precise cuts. However, they're also bulky and heavy, and the blades are tiny compared to the size of the whole package. Further, actually opening them is a pain, because the spring tension holding the scissors closed is almost comically tight, and the nail nick is too small to get meaningful leverage. Don't get me wrong, they're great for the price, and certainly the best standalone scissors I've ever tried on a keychain. I think there's a lot of improvement to be made, though. These could be made significantly thinner and lighter, and be much easier to operate, without compromising their cutting ability at all. But that would likely require higher-end materials and tighter tolerances, which would be at-odds with the bargain price.

Here we have an excellent pair of spring-loaded stainless steel scissors in their own fold-out steel sheath. Designed to compliment the versatility of a KeySmart Pro - and obviously bring that whole assembly closer to the usefulness of a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. As scissors, though small, the fold-out feature makes these more useful than many other multi-tool scissors. Unfortunately, this entire collection of otherwise useful accessories has been blighted by the failure of a primary component - see (negative) KeySmart Pro review elsewhere in this series...

Aun no he agregado este accesorio a mi llavero keysmart, aun lo tengo en su empaque, pero pues se ve de buena calidad, habría que ver que tal el muey que trae, ya les contare más adelante. Ya he agregado las tijeras a mi keysmart, son funcionales y están bien afiladas, pero son pequeñas, no puedes cortar cosas muy gruesas pues por el mismo tamaño no te permite hacer suficiente fuerza. Los pros que le veo es que no ocupa mucho espacio en el llavero, poco menos del grosor de dos llaves que funciona muy bien el mecanismo de apertura que tiene, tal vez no son algo insdispensable, pero sin duda te ayudara con abrir algún empaque complicado y encontrarás más usos en el día con día

It broke with the only few times of using just trying to cut a string, and I bought two of them. Not smart at all.
