Dualit Lite Jug Kettle White

Excellent kettle. Feels solid and the lid mechanism won't break as was the problem with all our previous kettles. This one does not have the spring release and is just a simple manual lift and close but us still hinged. Noise level is fairly normal and it boils quickly. A little more expensive than some kettles but with the lid problem solved and the ease to fill and see the water level, I'm very happy. Looks stylish in the kitchen too.

My previous Dualit kettle was similar to this but last week the whole internal plastic filter kit was suddenly found broken in the bottom of the kettle. No replacements available and it has lasted since 2007 so we looked for a new kettle. Found one in the Amazon resale dept as mint and it surely is. No damage noticed apart from the box so now working very well in our kitchen. It's quick to boil, although we don't overfill it. Easy to use and this lid isn't as tight to flip as the old one was. Happy with the stainless steel and black colour. Nice and quiet and energy efficient. Just what we wanted. Hopefully this one will last at least as long as the old one.

Lovely kettle, only negative would be is that it is a little noisy.

I’ve had a lot of kettles over the years , This kettle not only has a very nice design, but works lovely! The handle is really chunky ! As the white Matt on it , stops your hand from sliding when holding if u have trouble with your hands ? Yes is quite noisy, but I haven’t had one that isn’t!!! Doesn’t take to long to boil . I have coffee in my vains !!!! So it boils to a temperature I like , I have to say so far it’s my favourite! My worst experience Smeg kettle, but that’s another review. I think as for monies, it’s fairly priced, as shopping around looking at other certain designs, their roughly equal price. So I’m just of to switch on n cup out n feet up n enjoy.

As many other reviewers have commented the kettle looks great and works perfectly. The problem is the lid which is incredibly stiff and awkward to open. This kettle would not suit anyone who lacks manual dexterity or who isn't weight lifter strong!

Great kettle. Purchased to replace previous Dualit kettle with lasted over 8 years. Fast boiling and quiet . More expensive than others, but represents excellent value for money.

It doesn’t state anywhere that this kettle will have a UK power adapter. I have Dualit products with AU power adapters. This was purchased from Amazon AU website but has a UK adapter. I have to return it.

This kettle looks nice, but its so hard to open the lid, only strong people can do it, also water gets cold very quickly, I wouldn't buy again, very disappointed .
