24 Pack of Distiller Filters Made From Activated Charcoal. Works Great for Megahome and Many Other Countertop Distillers

These work! Im using them in my generic brand water distiller. The filter is made of a thicker “paper” so I did need to soak the filter for up to 5 minutes while moving it around a little bit and then pushing it down in a cup of filtered water. I have a ZERO water pitcher that purifies tap water to 000 ppm—these distiller filters purify our water straight from the faucet to 002 ppm.

These charcoal activated filters are larger than the ones that come with the Megahome distiller. It only takes one filter to fill the receptacle as opposed to two filters that come in the original box.

works great. I had them in the wrong way and water tasted very wrong. adjusted them and the water immediately tasted 'clean' again.Made me feel good as now I know they really work.

The material used for these sachets is considerably denser and has a satin sheen. Photo is comparing the formerly available ELEMENT 6 filters, those were awsome & large. It is very necessary to presoak & rinse. Fill a small glass with distilled h20 and place filter sachet in water ... Work gently with round side of a spoon to burp air from packet. The material is denser than any I have used before...so be patient it will take patience to soften and work water in and out with the spoon. They are still larger than nutriteam filters and do work well. I would give 5 stars if sachet material was'nt so dense....although most sachet fabric is too lightweight and breaks when rinsing or packing. So this material does soften just very slowly, it appears to be cellulose derived like other filters.

I have found that this system works better than Water wise, when I travel I don't have to worry about the charcoal filter breaking and getting all over everything. Plus the Mega Home Distiller produces more water and isn't as noisy.

The filters are ok, but much too small for the WaterPick distiller. Have to use 2.

I've had my distiller for years and long ago ran out of filters. The store where I bought the machine no longer stocked them. On a whim I checked Amazon. DUH. Of course they have them. The enhanced size also means i use one at a time instead of two. As advertised!

They are a tight fit in my Mega Home distiller. But, that's not the worst part. They left a really nasty taste in the water. I ended up dumping a whole gallon down the drain that I distilled this morning. I'm now distilling a new batch and just tested the water. Taste is still there but, not as strong. I can't afford to keep dumping gallons of water away til these filters stop giving off a bad taste. It takes 5-6 hrs. to distill one gallon of water!!! Nor, do I want to drink what tastes like tainted water. Will never buy again and recommend to others look elsewhere for your filters! I noted a comment from the distributor about the material (Polypropylene & Polyester) these filters are made of. This is my comment back to him-"For those of us that want clean, pure water, the last thing we want to do is run it through something made of Polypropylene!!! potentially toxic industrial chemicals are involved in its manufacture, including butane, benzene and vinyl acetate. This plastic is considered safe but not very environmentally eco-friendly. The chemicals used in the manufacture of the material you are using for your filters is what is leaching into our distilled water. Distilled water DRAWS things out. Good job at creating a filter that poisons us!!!" I didn't even bother to research "Polyester" and the chemicals involved in that process.....I can only imagine. Enough said, buy at your own risk!
