Excellent for beginners and advanced builders, ideal for customisation
Ok I have to share a secret... I love Lego 😊 I think it's imagination grabbing, mind expanding and creativity flaring, that I buy it to build with my niece and nephews. They spend alot of time with me, I make sure my free time is spent with them making memories and teaching them that there's more to life than technology. So far so good. These mechs are perfect for my littlest nephew and so easy to build, it's something we all do together with zero in fighting and light hearted chit chat. The time I've spent with him teaching him about Lego he is advanced for his age. If recommend 7 years plus if your a beginner for this. However if you are a beginner it's easy to follow instructions make this build a breeze. The model you get afterwards is eye catching if it's for display. However the real fun begins when you customize it further. After its built it is sturdy enough for light battling and creative play. However bare in mind if it's not customized further it won't be upto much heavy treatment before it disintegrates. (Keep the instructions in a box file!) It's easily customised though to be more robust and we've all got a mech each now. Each in different states if upgrades and so far my littlest nephew is winning in terms of strength 🐱 how can I loose?! Note to self must hold some secrets back and only share limited tricks until I win at least one battle!! On the whole it's fairly priced set and I can get it at the same price on the high street but they we're not offering the 3 for £20 deal last time I looked. Singerly it's compatible pricing, in the deal Amazon wins hands down. Highly recommended for family and friends time. Great fun and an impressive set at the end of a build with a few spare parts in hand to start a pot for customisation or repair. Have fun!!

If we can’t protect earth, you can be sure we’ll avenge it
We have quite a few Lego mech’s but they are all residing in our Ninjago collection. More recently your children got into Lego super heros as we gradually work through all the movie material. The children have explicitly stated that they only want the minifigures to play with, because we already have plenty of buildings and cars to create a setting, which is fair enough and alluding to my short comings as a parent when it comes to Lego. Still when looking for so low-price stocking fillers I thought that for this Iron Man Mech I would be permitted an exception. It’s not particularly spectacular as a mech and bot too sizeable but I think it will enhance the Lego super hero play. Though we already have a iron man minifigure. The mech is quite posable and can stand well on its own, it has a few of these stud shooters (of which we are not very big fans). But the best part is that the minifigure can be placed inside the mech’s cockpit. The built of this 148 piece set was not very demanding for my experienced little brick builder – he is a 7-year old and it took him about 20 minutes without requiring my assistance. I think that if you are looking for a decent but not to expensive Lego gift, this is a good option. In particular for super hero enthusiasts.

Not really age appropriate
The bits were really fiddly to put together. It was too difficult for my 7 year old nephew. I ended up fixing it and took ages to do.

Great little gift
This was purchased for my daughter who is Lego and Marvel crazy. The packaging is great, very colourful and a decent size for a small Lego set. Most importantly the build was fun and the finished IronMan is quite impressive and bigger than I thought it would be for the price paid (£7). He now stands on guard on her bedroom desk! It is well worth the money, I'll definitely keep this in mind when buying birthday gifts for kids parties.

Lovely little set
You can’t really go wrong with Lego and throw in a bit of Marvel and it’s even better! Lego is always slightly overpriced in my opinion but is a great toy and my son loved this set. The mini figure is detailed and looks great built.
