I bought this as I wanted a new brush after another non-vegan one had finally reached the end of its life. I tried this to see how a synthetic brush would fare. My immediate impressions were that it seemed a bit firmer than a badger / boar bristle brush, no problem with that and the firmness made it particularly good with shaving soaps. After using for 6+ months most days, I find it works well with soaps and creams, I am not sure if it has lost a bristle but if it has it is nothing like some brushes I have had in the past ! All told, I am very happy with this. If it got lost in a house-move or travel, I would be buying another straight away.

I’m impressed with the Gentleman’s Face Care Club Vegan Friendly Shaving Brush. It creates a rich, foamy lather and provides a nice exfoliation for the skin. I appreciate that it’s not made from badger hair, giving me peace of mind about its ethical sourcing. The brush dries quickly and is easy to clean, which is a huge plus. However, the bristles are a bit stiff, which can be a bit harsh for daily use. While they do an excellent job exfoliating, they might not be the most comfortable choice for everyday shaving. Overall, it’s a solid option with a few minor drawbacks.

Much bushier than expected. Produces a good lather and is soft on the face when brushing.

An excellent product which is very good value for money. It looks great and is easy and pleasant to hold even with soapy fingers. It paints and builds lather very well and has good backbone . Best of all, it splays nicely without having to exert too much pressure. But it does have a few days break in period, especially when splaying, until the excellent attributes and comfort of the brush are best revealed. And it has not shed a single hair! All in all , great value! Highly recommended as an affordable and effective, practical shaving brush that would also be great for travel.

I bought this originally as it is a Vegan friendly product. The size is spot on. The shape of the handle is such that it is very secure in your hand when in use. It whips up a lather very quickly and transfers a good amount to the face very efficiently. It's got enough resistance in the bristles to lift your hairs and apply the lather but soft enough that it does not irritate your skin. If synthetic products can be this good why would anyone still choose to buy real badger bristle?! If you were unsure abliut buying I would highly recommend you give this a go!

This is a fantastic little brush. I have been traditional shaving for a couple of years now and own all types of brushes: Badger, Boar, Horse and Synthetic. Since I bought this brush however, it’s the one that finds it’s way into my rotation more than any of the others. It has a good weighted handle with a very nice ergonomic feel. The knot is on the smaller side but that’s no problem, it still whips up a fantastic lather. I would describe this synthetic brush as being a real mix of synthetic, badger and boar in terms of feel. It is soft and smooth but still has enough backbone to really create a great lather if, like me, you prefer to face lather. For the price and value, this brush is a must have in any wet shavers den.
