Good Buy!
Good chaps for the money. The pocket is to small for a wallet. More for looks I guess. Based on other reviews I bought a size bigger and they fit perfectly. I wear a 38x32 pants and I got the 40.

Leather chaps
Took a shot on these chaps while I was joking with some friends that I needed some. I chose these because of the price. Wasn’t disappointed. While they aren’t as thick as a $300 pair, I was completely surprised at the weight and quality of the leather for what they are. Comfortable, easy to trim, and do exactly what they’re supposed to…..keep the cold off of you. One thing to mention is, be easy when using the belt, it isn’t the best at being attached. Big guys like me could rip it out if we aren’t careful. I’m planning to reinforce it. They look great, and feel great when you have to walk in them. If you don’t want to spend the big money, and you don’t ride in sun zero weather, these are the chaos for you! If you DO ride in super cold, there are a set of the same chaps with a zip out liner for $25 more. These were a GREAT deal for 52 bucks shipped to my front door.

Fits about right. Good value, inexpensive addition to riding gear.
I'm 6ft, 225lbs with a 30" inseam in jeans/slacks or a 31" inseam when wearing riding boots (both based on 1" from floor). I ordered the 38" variety of these since my jeans fitment is somewhere between 36"-38" depending on the cut and manufacturer. Reading the reviews on these, I figured it they're a bit big, that's better than a bit snug.I found it easier to unzip the upper leg portions and rezip them than trying to put these on like regular pants. The jeans would bunch up and as others have noted, the thighs aren't roomy. BUT, that's because chaps aren't supposed to be loose fitting (at least not like relaxed fit jeans). Once on, zipped, and buttoned up, they felt fine. I was able to pull the belt line on the chaps about an inch or two above my jeans' belt line, and that made the chaps snug to the crease of my crotch -I don't wear my chaps that way, but wanted to see if I could pull them all the way up. I adjusted the fitment so that the chaps belt sat right above my jeans belt and the fitment on the thighs and around the groin adjusted so I wouldn't be pinched.I wore these over jeans and rode 375 miles over 7 hours the first time I wore them (all same day, same ride). This was mostly highway riding. They were the perfect length to set right on top of my boots when seated on my motorcycle. There was slight bunching of the leather behind the knee, but this happens with most thick riding pants/chaps. I was able to un-bunch the chaps buy just a simple pulling of the leather. The 2nd wearing of the chaps, I rode 450 miles over 9 hours (all same day, same ride). About 120 miles were on the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding mountains, which meant I was a bit more active in my seat during the curves, than straight highway riding. I wore them over my Iron Workers Riding Chinos w/ the armor knees pads (see photo). The chinos are a bit longer than my jeans but fit perfectly beneath the chaps. The nice things about wearing these two together are: 1) The chaps held the knee armor in place and 2) Didn't allow the wind to blow my pants 1/2 way up my shins. At no point during my 2nd wearing of these did I feel as though they were causing me discomfort or affecting my ability to ride/maneuver my bike. I was concerned that I'd have issues w/ them being new, stiff, and not broken in yet, but frankly, I was fine and did NOT having to walk like Frankenstein's monster in them. After a couple of uses, I've decided to keep them and use them regularly. I had intended to re-sell them after this trip and then buy something else. At this price point and comfort, they're worth hanging on to.

These will not be hot. They are very well built for protection.
Perfect for protecting your legs.

Good inside lining, thin leather, distance between belt and leg too long.
Thin leather, light weight good for some protection, but do not know if great protection. Everything is adjustable except the distance between the belt and the start of the legs. Feels like good zipper and button.Have to alter the top to fit somehow, would be better with short, regular and long size. For the price, it is a good deal and way better protection than just jeans for your legs.

Great price point for great product
The weight was good for what the price is, thicker would mean more expense and these are just fine

These are great
Great fit and nice leather. You may want to add a pair of good suspenders to these. I did and then they were perfect.

right size and right price
took a 36 x 32 since my pants size vary between 34 and 36 depending on the model of pants and they fit nicely. they seem to be very comfortable but haven't been out on a ride yet. Hopefully they will last. So far very pleased with them.

Schlechte Qualität
Die Qualität ist nicht sehr gut , es ist beim ersten Tragen schon eine Schlaufe für den Gürtel abgerissen .

A nice surprise
The leather on these is thick, very protective. If they are looked after and maintained properly, they will last for years. The thickness of the leather surprised me, and the zippers are also heavy duty. If you need chaps for riding a motorcycle, these are a great, inexpensive alternative.
