I recently started using Wiggle Worm 100% Pure Organic Worm Castings Fertilizer, and let me tell you, this stuff is pure magic. Who knew that worm poop could make plants so happy? Certainly not me! The worms must have had a secret meeting to discuss how to make my plants thrive, because after using this, my garden is practically doing a happy dance. My plants are growing faster than my ability to keep up with the weeding! If you’re skeptical about using worm castings, don’t be. This fertilizer is like a VIP pass to Plant Paradise. It’s the best kept secret in gardening – and it’s all thanks to some very industrious worms. Highly recommended if you want your plants to experience a growth spurt that even your green thumb will envy!

This is my first year gardening. After thorough research, many sources recommended worm castings to increase the growth of bacteria, fungi & other beneficial microbes in the soil for plants. I purchased this product because of the many good reviews. I like to make worm tea using ~ 5 gallons of dechlorinated hose water or rainwater (most municipal water is treated with chlorine/chloramine to kill bacteria/mold - which would defeat the purpose of the beneficial microbes in worm castings. If using tap water, let it sit outside for 24 hours to let the chlorine/chloramine evaporate before making the tea. Or boil the water for 20mins to speed up the process but let it cool first) and 1/4 cup of the castings. Let the tea steep for at most 24 hours, mixing it throughout the day to aerate. Water with the tea until you see the liquid pooling on the top of the soil or use your own judgement. Idk. I prefer making worm tea because it is absorbed more rapidly. So far I’ve used the worm tea twice on a weekly basis and I’m not sure if there’s a direct correlation yet, but every time I’ve used the tea there was IMMEDIATE results. My carrots which are notorious for being difficult to germinate, went from having two/three weak looking sprouts to maybe a dozen+ healthy, green sprouts. My eggplants that were taking a while to sprout, sprouted immediately the next day. The same goes for the arugula. The potato greens FLOURISHED overnight. I can go on and on about the immediate growth I’ve witnessed on all my plants after using worm tea but you get the point. Like I said, I’ve only used the worm tea twice so far and on a weekly basis so I can’t vouch for its complete efficacy just yet but I am SOLD! This stuff does wonders. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Put a handful of this in the bottom of your hole before you plant a plant and your plants will grow wonderful. This is really good organic matter that helps everything grow.

At one point, my beautiful elephant ear was moving towards death after a nasty spider mite infestation. She lost a lot of leaves and looked very sad. I was looking for a fertilizer to help her recover, and just to feed all my plants. For a moment I considered a fish fertilizer, but everyone said it smells awful. I don't want my apartment smelling that way. I'm so glad I found this instead. It's dark brown, like the richest soil you can imagine, odorless, and a handful or two mixed into the upper inch of soil can fertilize plants for many months to come, slowly releasing more nutrients with each watering. This is the most natural way to go, and you can see how well my elephant ear recovered in the span of a few months. She's never looked better.

This soil is very good quality. My plants started to grow fast, and the leaves turned a rich green color.
