i normally prefer cream highlighters because i am prone to dry patchy skin, especially where i highlight. honestly, this product would have been better as a liquid or a looser cream because the product was stiff, had poor color payoff, and was hard to apply. at the end of the day the highlight looked like i had taken white eyeshadow and put it on my cheeks. not great.

I went with the poured (cream product) rather than pressed (powder product) because I thought it would lend a more natural finish and be easier to blend on top of foundation. I wish I had went with the powder version of this though. I found it somewhat difficult to get out of the pan. When I press my finger or a brush in it, it sort of presses the product down and doesnt pick much up. I guess it will look like a natural highlight when you don't get much of it on your skin though. The color however is lovely. It's a gorgeous pale gold tone that looks beautiful on fair skin. Looking at it in the pan had me worried because it seemed very dark but once on, it's much more sheer. Texture wise it's not as smooth and creamy as I'd hoped. I will still continue to use this product but once finished I won't repurchase. It's beautiful, yes. But there are much more affordable highlighters out there that do the job just as well. If you have money to blow and prefer high end brands, then sure, you'll like this product. It just wasn't worth it to me.

In love with the highlight

The packaging is similar to other Becca products I have ordered from other web sites, though the actual product itself is something I am on the fence on. That is, I am not sure if this is authentic. It is a bit drier than I would have expected or liked, and can be a bit difficult to blend out. I am on the fence as to whether this is authentic. I use a tiny bit of Jojoba oil thin it out when I wear it, and this helps. The shimmer on it is nice, subtle with no bits of glitter. The moonstone colour is really natural on my light/medium skin.

I absolutely love the Becca collection, I have the majority of it and they're excellent products. The Creme poured versions are equally as stunning as the pressed highlighters. I have dry skin so on days were I am looking extremely patchy, I'll go in with the poured highlight, it looks more natural and like you're glowing from within. I recommend this particular highlight for mature skin over the pressed.

Wollte einen Puderhighlighter, leider cremig. Also aufpassen für alle die auch dachten/denken es wäre ein Puder. Aber gute Pigmentierung leider schwerer Auftrag.
