Acqua di Parma Shaving Gel is one of the best shave creams in a can. It feels rich and creamy, lubricates very well and has great fragrance. Once I started using it I ordered another can.

First of all this shave product is ridiculously overpriced………that being said it is one of the best “canned” shaving creams I have ever used. The price undoubtedly comes from the fact that it’s from a well known and established fragrance house and it’s using their iconic Colonia scent which has been around a very long time. If you like the scent it’s worth it. If not then it’s still a great product and the scent isn’t over powering anyways. The performance is a little different than other canned shave creams I’ve used. It says that it’s a gel but what comes out of the can is a deliciously thick and creamy great smelling concoction. A little goes a long way so this small can will last a long time so long as your light handed with it. It lathers up the more you spread it around the area you want to shave but where this stuff shines is when you add water. After you put a light coating of this stuff on your face(Santa beard is unnecessary) add a nice amount of water and you get this semi translucent super slick layer which makes shaving a breeze with any razor. This is where the “gel” description makes sense to me as the product almost turns into a clear gel/slime coating which is just great. If you want to lay it on heavy you will be amazed by the residual slickness after doing a pass or two. It’s the best of both worlds for those who like to see where they have shaved and for those who want to be able to see where they are going to shave(trim around beards). This stuff has a fair amount of skin food in it such as hyaluronic acid and several fruit oils which give it a great aftershave feel with no dryness and nice conditioned skin. Once again it is very expensive but all things considered I think it’s definitely worth it. Typically between $50-$60 for a can of this stuff so $38(price at purchase) is a little better on Amazon. If you like to use a brush and go through that whole process then look into a tub of the cream which is also expensive but you get a little bit more bang for your buck that way. Makes a great gift as well………..even if you don’t like it I can guarantee somebody you know will. Highly recommend

Personally I think this product is overpriced. Goes on a little thin. I recommend using a badger shaving brush with it. It does have a pleasant odor.

I got this one after reading some reviews that this is one of the best shaving cream for men. And I do like it alot. A little goes a long ways on this. I accidentally held down the pump for about 2 seconds and i got a palm full - which basically ends up usable on my entire body lol. use a quick pump and you've got enough for the areas you need. Even sensitive areas. Rich lather - good barbershop scent and you've got a good shaving cream in this. BTW- as i started this review with, I kinda treated myself to this since its a little pricy compared to my store bought ones I am use to using, and I havent regretted it.

I’ve tried many shaving creams. This is excellent for sensitive skin, scent and ease of razor use. Are use it on my head in my face.
