I've always thought that the regular Johnny's Seasoning Salt was the best ever, but then I found Johnny's Hunter's Blend! Wow! The flavor is less salty on the tongue and more balanced. If you like salty, it's still there. If you want to mellow that salty taste and have a more rounded flavor, this will change your mind entirely. The flavor is so well rounded making it so complimentary to ALL meats, cheeses, cottage cheese, roasted veggies, steamed veggies, it doesn't matter. IT IS THE BEST! Trust me. If you are a Johnny's backer, you will NOT regret trying this. It will immediately be your go-to as well!

I’ve used every single one of Johnny’s seasonings. They are among my favorite seasoning blends. The Salad and Pasta Elegance, Garlic Bread Seasoning and standard Johnny’s are all perfection. But the Hunter’s Blend is pure magic! It’s got a lot of black pepper (which I love) as well as MSG (also a fave) and gives everything it touches a depth of flavor that will blow your mind. You don’t need much to make your food sing but on a roast or huge steak or ribs? Good heavens! Let this be a dry rub! It’s polarizing for vegetables too, potatoes, rice, pasta, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, greens, salad, salad dressing. If you’re looking for a bold seasoning blend, you’ve found it. This is the best.

Very tasty. I used it recently to make braised turkey wings. Also on a roasted pork tenderloin. But be aware that it contains MSG.
